so true , somany modern babnds owe their existence to bowies music and influence , to me its been so since 1972 ,the music world without david i could'nt imagine , never before as a singular person added somuch to the music world , wether it was intended on his be half or just his love of all styles of music

Oh yes well definitely. Bowie's music is, I would argue, comparable to The Beatles, only the old guy did it all himself{with a bit of help from his friends;)}, AND continues to do so. I first encountered Bowie when I was six watching Labyrinth. I've been a die hard fan since. He really is more than just a Rock Star. Yes, the music world would be poorer without him but I also mean that I feel the world itself is gonna be OK if he's still in it.
