It's by Giacomo Puccini, and is called "Nessum Dorma" ("No One Shall Sleep") from his opera entitled "Turandot"

It is most famously performed by Luciano Pavarotti. He made it his signature aria after performing it as the theme song of the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy, although he never did actually perform the full opera.

Susan Boyle was also a surprise but Paul Pot was realy better. First, he was not so trustful as Susan. Second he was better than her musicaly (He was already a professional and didn't know that). I confess I cryed first time I wacth this video.
