I'll never understand why a team whose fans pride themselves as the toughest in England sing such a silly little song that has nothing to do with football. I know a 1920s player was nicknamed "Bubbles," but come on.
As for Americans not fighting with their hands, do I have to break out the films of Muhammad Ali slamming Henry Cooper and Brian London?
Though I can think of a few U.S. sports teams whose fans could use a good thrashing by the ICF! (Red Sox, Cowboys, N.Y. Rangers.)
if i'm not mistaken, the movie is based off a book written by a former West Ham hooligan. i actualyl found it in the book store a few months ago, and it mentions on the cover that this was what inspired the film.

No it's not, it's fucking embarrassing, only a stupid American would think it resembled anything like the truth, Green Street is probably the worst of the hooli films and that is saying something.
