@Marlow...G Minor Key, G7 here...! ok I just wondered if its good practice to view minor keys as relative and relate them back to their major keys? eg: so if Im playing in Em should I really just say to myself Im actually playing G Maj Aeolian ?

@Fl3tch3rb0y Yes, i do that a lot, since im better at playing the Major scale;-)

But you should be able to do both. And a small correction to your example, you would then play a G major Ionian (not Aolian, which is the natural minor)

One question though: you sometimes do a vibrato that you don't do in the slow version, you can see during the fill about 0:25. Are you just staying on the one fret when you do your vibrato or is your fretting finger crossing over onto the next fret up? It looks v cool and involves quite a bit of hand movement...but how are you doing it?
