I really try to stay out of these pissing matches, but this is a little off for me. First of all, you listed 5 players on championship teams, not 6. Also, two of them are from the same team and year. So you 5 players who won titles in the last 5 season, not 6 of 7 as you said. Also, it's not like Kansas couldn't argue the same. Last years Finals MVP is Paul Pierce. Wayne Simien was on the Heat title team. Jacque Vaughn was on the Spurs title team. I am failing to see your argument.

Nice, I appreciate a accurate and well stated response. Despite scandals in almost every program, Pittino and Roy Willioms were very good ambasadors for college basketball in the 1990's, and I think Salf and Calipara will be huge in the coming decade. I just dont understand some of the arguments about this "overwhelming" superiority of your program to us as well as this FAB 4 coming in with henry, wall, cousings, and nolan dennis. henry is a big if, and i don't think wall is going to kentucky.

If Henry wanted to go to Kansas so bad then why hasnt he committed there?! He grew up close to KU ball, has visited multiple times and both parents are KU alums but he picked Memphis over KU once before and is planning on visiting UK and then making a decision pretty quickly. Henry picked Cal and Memphis over KU why would he now pick KU over Cal and Kentucky?!

Most basketball historians dont believe Rupp had anything to do with the point shaving scandal and Eddie Sutton was only at UK for 3 years.
