Edda from One Upon A Time in the West is superb! Kudos for the post it shows your appreciation for all magnanimous works of art. Everyone was struggling to make this unwanted movie and the script writer was brought from exile in Mexico thanks to people like Kazan and McCarthy. Truly the movie was a masterpiece, thanks to writer Howard Fast too or it would have NEVER been.
Jean Simmons was the most beautiful, most astonishing and underrated actress ever! This is one of the most tragic and deeply moving scenes I've ever, ever seen in a movie.
Jean you are one of the most beautiful actress, I always love all your movies I always watch spartacus every week I really love this movie. God bless your beautiful and great soul, you will never and ever be forget , please Rest In Peace.
i love morriconne but for me this scene, specially this one goes superb with the alex north original, i like the result but the original (for me,) is more touching.
Great work on everything here. I appreciate the great sound track and perfect editing as she leaves him on the carriage, i enjoyed the original ending but this could have worked as it too.
Why is it that in recent times, today's contemporary producers and directors are constantly coming up with new films of already accomplished old classics? I mean, didn't you people learn anything in college years back? Where's your imagination and creativity? When will you bozos ever learn that great films like "The Adventures of Robin Hood", "Spartacus" & even the original "Shaft" should be left to stand on its own!
@METALLICARULES11 The eventual fate of Spartacus himself is unknown, as his body was never found, but he is accounted by historians to have perished in battle along with his men. 6,000 survivors of the revolt captured by the legions of Crassus were crucified, lining the Appian Way from Rome to Capua.
It is from the movie "Once Upon a time in the west" by Ennio Morricone. There are longer version of it. This is an actually a live version performed by Morricone in Venice. The title odf the CD is Ennio Morricone in Venice. I hope that helps.
This was very good. Your editing added another dimension to this scene. From the dimension that your mom and dad are in, They are nodding in approval. Thanks
