@casestudyification I would argue it being more along the lines of funk due to the lack of the focus on solo parts, and the short song format. If it doesn't sound close to Herbie Hancock's work (Head Hunters/Sextant/Thrust era), I'm usually disinclined to call it jazz-funk.
Yeah!! I was just digging on this song on my iPod the other day. (I put the vinyl on CD.) This album is awesome.
