just an advice : dont waste big time on these exercises.. if you do, your body will adapte on these things, but not throwing javelin. throwing javelin is complete another thing because of material, how to pull, how to fly everything different. even balls are not good to throw so much because your hand direction. but it can be done followed by javelin throws. but dont forget, we need to throw, throw, throw the JAVELIN :) cheers.
Great video. I'm really interested in what type and weight of small balls you are using at the end of the video and bouncing off the wall with one hand. If you have a known source i'd be really grateful to know. Thanks
If you means the "plinth" (with adjustable elements) it is usually to find in the gymnastic area of sport retailers , but it is also possible to do it yourself. If you mean the "boxes" more used for jumps etc... then it is usually local made with sets of different heights . I am actually coaching at the Northsport Academy Auckland (N Zealand) and for NZL team. Cheers
Yes, great video. We have done some exercises of it in the training.
Could I ask you a few questions? We would like to have a block to jump on, like you have at 2:04 of the video. Did you made them by yourself, or could you buy it somewhere?
any drills to work on the left plant leg? My plant leg is long and I'm trying to work on getting it down sooner any ideas?
