my system is quite old and crap, core 2 quad 2.66ghz, nvidia 9800gtx+ and 4gb ram, is it compatible with this game? i'm still experiencing a lag of a milisecond when suddenly, hordes of zombies come, well seldom got any lag when they come, but sometimes, it is lag, hard to move the fucking mouse

i have a 9800gtx and a e8400 3.8ghz and i have no lag what so ever at highest everything with 8xaa maybe it is your cpu have you tryed to overclock it? (L4D dose not use all 4 cores but relies on raw ghz so quad has no advantage over dual)

That is not a crap computer.

The problem could be too many background applications running at once while you have the game running.

Because those are pretty decent specifications.

oh, i see. thanks man. now i found out i only experience lag when all of a sudden hordes of zombies appear in front of me if my flashlight is on, if it's off during hordes attack, it's a not-lag situation =)
