No offense to any Wakeboarders out there, but I'm sorry, I hate Wakeboarding. I've never done it and I never will, Wakeboarding is what drove out the art of Water Skiing. I myself, am a Water Skier and let me tell you, Water Skiing is no easy sport (to most people). I'm not trying to speak highly of myself or sound likea prick, but Wakeboarding CAN'T be that hard, I will admit, the "riding-sideways" part doesn't look to easy, but it's a lot easier to balance on a Wakeboard than a Water Ski.

It just takes common sense for me to think that it's easier to ride something as wide as an ironing board compared to something as thin as a water ski. Like I said in my last comment, the "riding-sideways" part doesn't seem too easy, but almost everything else about it does. Not necessarily the tricks though.

Kneeboarders were also the ones to change wake from small to big. We kept wanting to go bigger and bigger. Also, this video is on the first kneeboards - Hydroslide Pro and the Hydroslide Magna. I would love to see a wakeboarder pull off tricks like this with a Skurfer, if they could find one. hahahaha

They are basically wakeboards for your knees, I have seen guys huck huge air with these fair supporior to the plastic ones these guys are using in the video. If you are just getting going though. Go to a swap meet or what ever I am sure someone will have a old kneeboard for you for 20 bucks.

Kneeboarding is probably the easiest watersport to do! (except tubing). Basically, just you hold on. Once you get the hang of it, you can start doing small tricks like going backwards, spinning 360's (not in the air, but on the water).
