I broke my space key a long time..

Razer and their shitty, cheaply built products... First I get a $70 Carcharias headset that shorts out on me in the left ear-piece after a few months. Then I get a $70 Lycosa keyboard with a spacebar that after a few months tilts to the left and right so the only way to press it is in the middle. Then I spend $60 on a Nostromo and its LED lights start flickering and flashing and sometimes not turning on at all. Why, I ask myself, do I keep buying products from these cheap motherfuckers?

I don't think there are any replacement keys to buy, I think you have to buy a new keyboard.

Easier way is to put the spacebar metal peice on the actually keyboard itself first, and firmly press the spacebar onto it.

@KkF00 This is actually the easiest way. it doesn't seem to work at first but you just have to make sure u snap the key into place at the end, u will litearlly here it click into the metal bar.

So, I figured out how to reattach the all the other "metal bar" keys, the shift and enter. Attach the metal bar to the key. Then wrap a small piece of duct tape around the key, down the center of it, wrap it up and down, not left and right. That way the bar will not fall off when you attempt to attach the key. As soon as it is attached, you can easily remove the tape. Fixed ^^.

If your spacebar moves like a seesaw when you press the left or right end of it,

1. take off your spacebar

2. make sure the metal bar is attached to the spacebar

3. slide the metal bar hooks into the latch ( there should be one look for it)

4. make sure the metal bar is still in the latches when you put the spacebar back on

if you do that right the spacebar will respond wherever you press on it, I just had that problem and fixed it by doing what I said above

unfortunately i was unable to fix my space bar for my logitech,therefor i just took the alt button and filled in 1 of the space holes lol. though this is uncomfortable at least it beats pressing spacebar with all my force.this will do until im able to buy another one

actually, the easier way is to put just the metal bar in place NOT attached to your spacebar. Make sure the long end of the bar sits on the pegs by each pot to hold it up and the bent ends sit under the hooks. then, the the space bar in place, fully depress it and you should hear some clicks from the bar snapping into space bar.
