Do not follow this guys instructions on how to install this iPad shield screen. I did this and ruined my iPad. I was lucky to have 127 days remaining on my warranty so I had it replaced free of charge. DONT DO THIS I BEG YOU!!!
I just bought an Invisible Shield at Best Buy. The amount of spray it comes with is very limited....I sprayed as much as I could, but at the end the good quality "2 cent" squeege left a bunch of black residue on the shield. Also, the shield had to straight lines showing (bad production!!!)...Very disappointed with this product. Now going through hell to get a replacement...have to give these AH your credit card...Do I trust them? NO!
Damn, I just got my iPad and put the invisible shield on. My iPad just looked like it aged about a year! There smudges everywhere and bubbles on the side. I tried to do it like you did, but the application solution ran out and I don't think I got enough on the shield b/c as soon as I put it was already sticking. I don't know which shield u have bc i hv used IS but am currently using BG. Ur shields come w/ lifetime warranty so if u screwed it up it's fine just go n get a replacement from their website. BodyGuardz n InvisibleShield offer similar warranties. Replacement is $3.99 for IS and $4.99 for BG. They are still making money on replacements so I don't think they really care what u did 2 the shield, w/that sd i hope you kept the 1 u screwed up. everyone has screwed up, not only u.

I agree with almost everything you said, I have learned to use the extra boarder that comes with the full body kit to cover up the headset jack, charger port and speaker and soak up every little piece of water after I squeegee or use an air can and BLOW the water out...lol... That sounded dumb. Sorry. Most of the liquid is going to fly off the device if you squeegee hard and fast enough, I run a credit card over to make sure all the small bubbles come off.

There are creases on the sides between the body and the screen, careful not to have the liquid seep too much in there. I've tried this IS the other day and from experience, it's better to pour the liquid in a clean big bowl or tray and just dip the shields and your fingers while you're working. Also put tape on the ports. While you're squeegeing, push it quick and hard towards the side so the liquid will just fly off, like what he's doing while drying the leftover from the sides with napkin.
I think the video is the best I've seen yet. Great explanation and demonstration. Spraying the device and the shield seems to make all the difference in the world as to applying it correctly and successfully. Thanks so much. I plan on ordering this but was very apprehensive of the application and worried about totally destroying it all together. I am confident that I will be able to do this successfully. wow i just got the full body protection ( front & back) and got carried away with
applying lots of the liquid spray, without much notice used it all up on first side (which was back) .

So i used water to moisten the front screen (in place of supplied liquid) , but it didn't work any where as well it now looks very messy on the front screen as the protector didn't float on top ( as per your video)

I've installed countless shields both Invisible Shield and BodyGuardz on all my devices & as a perfectionist this is the only way u can make the guards look perfect. Your installing it totally wrong. You don't spray the back of the iPad with the solution. You spray the back of the shield and you take the lint free cloth and wipe the surface of the iPad. If someone sprays the solution on the iPad, theres a very good chance someone is going to fry their iPad. If you wan't the real instructions, watch the video by ZAGG. They do it right!
You suck at doing this, have respect for people and take this video off before someone fries their ipad. I install these shields for a living and the last fucking thing you want to do is "spray the hell out of it".

I hate Zagg. Since my InvisibleShield is damaged while installing, though I followed their instructions, I want to request a 'free' replacement. Still I have to pay shipping AND I have to send my first shield BACK! I'm sure they will still have me pay the full thing once I send it back.

@Saiint25 Without joining in the war, I agree that you should spray a lot of solution on it otherwise it'll get very sticky and the result won't look as nice, and might eventually ruin the whole thing. My friend sprayed lightly and ended up buying another set. Anyway, it's just my experience, people might have different opinions and I don't see the point in attacking and demeaning each other over a screen protector.
