No ideea, sorry. I recall only some wierd song I couldn't identify at first, then the host went on saying that's Swedish, it's on YT and further detailing your story.
It may not be the car, just the dealership...not able to organize their efforts to make it right I am surprised that Mr. Rusnack would let it get this far...you see what it has done to GM and Chrysler..hang in there they may decide to do the right thing since this kind of publicy negates any advertising campaings that suggest honesty and value in their products....
Unfortunately, I don't believe Volvo will ever help you.
IMO, the best thing to do is abandon Volvo (and never deal with the dealership that's been giving you grief, especially if they also sell other brands of vehicles) and buy a different brand of vehicle if Volvo and your dealer will not make it right.
Just dodge any Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge dealers though.
If you thought your Volvo experience was bad, speak with people who had heartburn from Chrysler products and "service!"
Volvo is shitty anyways. But thats still no excuse to screw over your customers. Freya I hope the bastards at Rusnak have a change of their horrible business tactics and make the right decision to fix your car, actually should give you a brand new car for the stress and problems they have given you. I live in Pasadena and will make sure everyone I know gets an email link to this story and your youtube posts about this BS
Funny video! But it's tragic what happened to that company. I had a Volvo V70 XC. Bumped into a snowbank and the front of the car disintegrated, $2800 in damage. Fixed it, sold it, bought a 1991 Volvo 240 with 150K on it. Beautiful machine. Coincidentally I named it Freya. I always name cars I like.
Nice story on Autoblog! If Volvo won't listen, there are thousands that will. Hey, maybe you should contact BMW and ask them how they handle their customer service :)
In my opinion her first mistake was buying a Volvo in the first place but I understand why she did. Swedish pride is fine and dandy but it looks like it might cost her money.
I should take this opportunity, as an enthusiast, to recommend (lol) the new cadillac cts wagon. It's gorgeous and caddy's quality is right up there with the best of them these days.
You're funny,Dude! . . . You're like the Sweedish Bob Dylan . . . I totally support your cause . . . Let me know if I could do anything to help further your progress . . . Great tune!

I guess you just got a defective car.
I have a V70 and an S60 and I never had any problems. My mercedes ML used to be in the shop every 2 months. Volvo seems good in contrast.

chalk up another dissatisfied volvo consumer. My dad bought a 98 xc v70 used in 05 with 153k miles.
List of repairs so far:
Numerous sensors
Driveshafts
Two alignments and 2 sets of tires (car now has 170k)
a full valve job
my favorite is the fact that it cant deliver more than 18mpg hwy, for that kind of mileage id be driving a suburban

in German, the first part:
3 Jahren vorher mit meinem Volvo
Etwas hat nicht gestimmt
Volvo sagte ... keine Sorge
Aber schon nach ein paar Meilen auf den Strassen
es ..... ist mir ganz klar,
Volvo ... es war nur Quatsch
O Volvo .... Ihr Getriebe ist mangelhaft
O Rusnak .... Ihr Getriebe ist mangelhaft
obamaisapieceofshit 2 years ago
in German, the second part:
Immer wieder bin ich zurückgegangen,
sagte etwas stimmt hier nicht
Sie meinten, alles ist Ordnung
Aber jetzt dass die Guarantee vorbei ist,
sie wollen reparieren ... das ist voll beschissen
Oh Volvo & Rusnak.... Ihr Getriebe ist mangelhaft
Jetzt is unsere Liebe
In der Vergangenheit
