There was one here in B'ham AL - Century Plaza which looked like that before it closed a few years back. Now it is just a shell of a building sitting off a very busy road - You move in a Wal-Mart and sit back and waych everything collapse.
I remember going to that mall(back when It was called Richland Fashion Mall) when I was a kid in the 80's and 90's. It was booming. I got my first Metallica shirt there.

The top floor was absolutely empty to where I could drive a vehicle around freely and worry about nothing. I may have even needed my headlights on because it was dark due to no stores being open.
