@huptochao Alright, allow me to explain, when war started the apocalypse at the start of the game, he wound up getting "killed" by Straga, because of that, it took the council 100 years to revive him so he could stand trial and get killed again, near the end of those 100 years, death hears about all these shenanigans and goes on a quest to prove that war is innocent, in short form, darksiders 2 takes place around a year before the beginning of the main quest of darksiders 1.

Here's what I think: War was able to die because most of his power was still missing, and he laughed because he knew the Nex Sacramentum still had to completed (it can only be completed when one of the combatants die, so he did actually die.), and that Uriel would destroy the final seal, this would summon all four Horsemen (...and woman...), even from beyond the grave, and War was then granted his full power once more in order to keep the Balance.

For all of you that are questioning if War died or not... My point of view is that maybe the horsemen never die (They just return to the Council). And he "revived" because he was called back to duty (when the seal was destroyed).

NOTE: They Council can never be destroyed because they keep the balance; so, if the horsemen work for the Council, then they horsemen cannot die either because the too keep the balance (from my point of view of course). if you have a different point of view, then reply.

@ThePouzeto I think that well in this game war could die since he was missing so much of his own power, which was being kept by the council but like you said when he was called back to duty as the seal was broken he had the remainder of his missing power ripped from where it was back to him such including his eternity and reviving him.

I know that,, but what i was implying that this game is better because of graphics and story-line.

Aion doesn't have either one, you just choose to play on a Good angel side or Bad angel/demonic side. There is no back story or lore even about this game so you have no idea whats going on.

Also this game (Aion) has really poor graphics and you also receive huge ping (latency) during game-play.

That is why i said Darksiders craps on any angel vs demon game(s).
