Best Female Vocalist ever!! And Nancy...been in love with her since I was 16. Saw Heart in concert in Ft. Lauderdale in the late 70's in the Sportatorium, and been a loyal fan ever since. Ann & Nancy Wilson has created some of the most beautiful, inspiring music in modern Rock & Roll history...........and "Dog & Butterfly" is an absolutely prime example of the musical "Magic" that they have created, and given to the world for more than 3 decades. "Dog & Butterfly" was the very first "Heart" album I purchased.......I distinctly remember buying the "8-Track" when it first hit the stores, "back in the day". That album completely hooked me on the Wilson sisters, then & forever.

This is my favorite song and this happens to be an especially beautiful preformance of it, don't recall which video it's from but it's simply wonderful. If you happen by here and enjoy this if you haven't already bought Heart's new album Red Velvet Car you really should. It's all new except for a cover of Lovemonger's Sand and although it is new it's reminiscent of early Heart; very earthy, raw, and melodic. Rock on Heart!

You forgot to mention the incredible compositions both lyrically & musically. Popularity & phenomenon seem to have a lot more to do with repetition & promotion than talent. Promoters understand the collective nature inherent in the majority of humans, to not stick out in a crowd, but rather to go along with social restructuring & expectations. The current educational system in the US compounds this problem by design, focusing on the development of this very trait.
