Why is it that I always get goosebumps at Scooter's solo after the first time they sing the chorus? Very deep, but yet a very strong message Scooter has there! I've always loved this song since I was a child. That's a 30-year old Jim Henson fan talking, might I add! :)

@iristhevampiress That's the late Richard Hunt performing Scooter. He passed away just a year or two after Jim Henson did. Sad that they and John Denver are gone...

This was my favorite Christmas show of all time. When I watch this and hear the music, I am instantly transported back to when I was a little kid. I sure wish there were more John Denvers and Jim Hensons in the world. It would be a whole lot peaceful of a place.

Thanks, Arlene. It was so great to hear from others who grew up with this wonderful show. I feel so lucky that I grew up in the time I did and got to enjoy the Muppets and John Denver the way I did. I was lucky a few years back when I posted on the internet that I had always wanted a copy of this tape. I connected with this woman in Colorado who sent me a copy at a reasonable cost. I will cherish it always.
