Someday we r all going to see d space atlantic shuttle, all d military different models of jet fighters (f-16, U2-bombers, reciprocal engine car & turbine engine for small/large airplane) are all flying saucers someday using a reverse engineering engine propulsion that hoover in the air & travel in a speed of light, invisible but there's light to avoid collision. Star Trek TV writers came up w/ beaming people from one place to another because it would take too much time having crewmen travel by shuttle every time they went to a planet below or to the main ship above. @yowzephyr It is possible but they have it all wrong.. They have and energy feilt (Kinda like a force feild) You contained in it the forse feild is beamed down and then the feild disolves as you are ther beams at the speed of light.
