  • JUNE ARCTIC SEA ICE LOWEST ON RECORD

    July 6, 2010 - NSIDC

Average June ice extent was the LOWEST in the satellite data record, from 1979 to 2010. Arctic air temperatures were higher than normal, and Arctic sea ice continued to decline at a fast pace. June saw the return of the Arctic dipole anomaly, an atmospheric pressure pattern that contributed to the record sea ice loss in 2007.

  • WHAT COOLING??? LOL!!!

MARCH was the HOTTEST March in the UAH 32 year satellite record.

UAH (Univ. of Alabama, Huntsville) is run by Dr. Christy, the well known AGW denier.

Global temperatures for FEBRUARY were 2nd WARMEST February in 32 years.

Global Temperatures for JANUARY were the HOTTEST January for UAH in 32 years.

    LOL!!

  • I have a friend that funs a commercial greenhouse and they generate CO2 to help the plants grow stronger. They like levels of over 1000 PPM. CO2 is not a polutant and what we should be fighting is real polution like what the city of Victoria B..C. dumps into the ocean everyday. How can you people from B.C. join any green group when victoria is dumping raw sewage into the Pacific ocean everyday. Let CO2 increase, it is only at about 350 PPM and we could use it quite a bit higher for the plants.

  • Good for plants, good for us but only with a stable climate!

  • thanks for telling the truth nor lies like ail whore does ,

  • Temperature and solar activity data have actually diverged since 1980 so although there was a correlation in the past it's now clearly not the case. Solar activity continued to fall after 1980 while temperature kep rising sharply. See video titled "Global Warming Swindle Debate Pt2".

  • Really? I googled charts of Cycle 22, which started in 1986 was short (less than 10 years). Global temps also rose (satellite data) from 1985 until around 1990. They rose again in the 90's (cycle 23 started around 1996) but not as much as the 1986 Cycle 22 start. This may have been due to a solar min in 1992 + Mt. Pinatubo erupting in 1991.

  • Overall solar radiance also increased from 1980 on until the mid 1990's. This also correlates with a sharp increase in satellite monitored temps, which peaked in 1998.

  • I believe you are entirely wrong about global temperatures. They have dropped a whole degree all in one year and it took about a hundred years to raise it one degree. The sun has been sun spot dead for two years, and if it doesn't spark back up we will find ourselves in another little ice age. I suppose this would crush all that global warming fanatics have been working on, but don't worry being cooler is a lot more dangerous for civilization than being warmer.

  • That debate was completely biased and still proved nothing about CO2's role in warming. The data that showed rising temps after 1980 was based on info from IPCC that is now proven inaccurate. They failed to explain the importance of urban heat islands role in calculations, though it was mentioned and quickly disregarded. Besides, there has been overall cooling trend since 1998. Carbon tax is world Gov't, simple as that. And guess who founded the carbon credit company - Al Gore. He wants money
