Depending on which projector you are referring to, there are several answers.
All bixenon projectors should come with a conector for the solenoid. It's basically, a plug with one ground and one positive wires.
The FX-R projector solenoid is bi-polar, meaning that you can reverse the polarity on the wires, and the solenoid still works correctly. To my knowledge, the TL and the E55 solenoids are no bi-polar, and when you reverse the polarity, the solenoid simply does not work.
