Old Godzilla ain't old, he had 6 movies after the 1998 american cgi false-educating movie. Google or google images for "Godzilla 2012", almost all the youtube trailers are fake, and theres only one real design artwork picture, showing him charging his laser behind a bunch of collapsed building rubble. Legendary Pictures is making it, they made 300, clash of the titans, sucker punch, and batman begins/the dark knight. They are the type that will try to stay to the character of the monster. That means no more Zilla. This is all Godzilla is, this is all he will be.

It wasn't American Godzilla that Jap Godzilla killed. The chin was shaped differently, the mouth was too big, the color was different, and that monster was 3 times bigger than the American Godzilla. Sorry guys, try again. If the two did actually fight, and were the same size (American Godzilla and 1950's-1970's Jap Godzilla are roughly the same size) and fought in America, then American Godzilla would win. If they fought in Japan, then Jap Godzilla would win. It's a MOVIE, it works that way.

It's all in the imagination of who makes the movies to say who is stronger and such.

No it wasn't him. American Godzilla was much smaller than what you see in the film. The head shape was a bit different, and skin color was different. And Final Wars stole the entire idea of aliens coming down and controlling the monsters from the American Godzilla Animated Series. Just go watch it, it's in season one, which had to be a few years before that movie ever came out.

It wasn't a sub way system he couldn't fit into, it was a tunnel, and one much smaller than the ones that he had dug out for himself. American Godzilla stands ab roughly 160 Feet. Godzilla 2,000 stands at roughly 270 Feet.

Zilla was first owned by a bridge, electrically shocked in mouth by Matthew Broderick and then was killed by a couple of missiles. Zilla was killed by conventional weaponry. Legendary Pictures is making it, they made 300, clash of the titans, sucker punch, and batman begins/the dark knight. They are the type that will try to stay to the character of the monster. It wasn't American Godzilla that Jap Godzilla killed. The chin was shaped differently, the mouth was too big, the color was different, and that monster was 3 times bigger than the American Godzilla. Sorry guys, try again. If the two did actually fight, and were the same size (American Godzilla and 1950's-1970's Jap Godzilla are roughly the same size) and fought in America, then American Godzilla would win. If they fought in Japan, then Jap Godzilla would win. It's a MOVIE, it works that way.

In Final Wars that wasn't the American Godzilla though, it was a similar looking monster, but look closely you will see they are not the same. American Godzilla is much more realistic too. I know, I will make some animation of missiles striking the American Godzilla and not killing him, then make a video of missiles striking Jap Godzilla and killing him, then I could say American Godzilla wins. It's all in the imagination of who makes the movies to say who is stronger and such.

No it wasn't him. American Godzilla was much smaller than what you see in the film. The head shape was a bit different, and skin color was different. And Final Wars stole the entire idea of aliens coming down and controlling the monsters from the American Godzilla Animated Series. Just go watch it, it's in season one, which had to be a few years before that movie ever came out.

@mechaghostman2 Wrong on both counts. I know you want to deny it all you want but it was Zilla. Final Wars was a remake of Destroy All Monsters, which came out decades before the Zilla Animated Series.

@mechaghostman2 Both Zilla and Godzilla were inconsistent with thier sizes. They fluxed in the very same films they were in. Zilla for example was small enough to be able to travel through the NY subway system yet he was big enough to to stand toe to toe with a highrise and wasn't able to fit in in the exact same NY subway system when chasing the taxi.

It wasn't a sub way system he couldn't fit into, it was a tunnel, and one much smaller than the ones that he had dug out for himself. American Godzilla stands ab roughly 160 Feet. Godzilla 2,000 stands at roughly 270 Feet.

Godzilla 1950's through 1970's is 170 feet tall. Godzilla 80's is 270 feet tall. Godzilla 90's is 335 feet tall. American Godzilla is 160 feet tall. Godzilla 2,000 is 270 feet tall.

development, people are looking for more realistic content and things that work and look good. Zilla works, and is more believable, in reality I think zilla is what Godzilla should have been. I like both regardless, and zilla Jr. This comparison aspect is one sided because of Godzllas Iconic persona, of course all the Godzilla lovers will side with Godzilla over the newly made zilla from the movie and Zilla Jr, thye are use to GZ and he has a classic reputation.

The japanese godzilla would beat zilla! Just read this: godzilla is 125 meters, he has fire, atomic ray, extra powerfull atomic ray and fire balls, and he cant be killed by a rocket! i dont think of the 98 godzilla a remake... more of a re imagining. both US,and J versions are cool. the J one is like total over the top, crazy special effects awesomness... but the stories are crap. the us one is a more believable approach (no lasers lol) and it being a mother makes sense.... protecting its babies... i like both. just saw final wars today and loved it
