  • @Duracoatdude Wanna The same stuff dude, as dirty and bad wish it is...

  • Thank you,

I first heard this song on XERB, the "Big X" over L.A. (the Wolfman) Must have been around 68 or so.

  • How can anyone NOT think of Viet Nam when they hear this?

  • it could be in 240 and i couldnt care

  • I'm only 16 years old an this appeals to me more than Justin Beiber, Katy Perry and any other bull shit music our generation is coming up with, i wish my generation had a good taste in music like this.

  • YOU GOT ONE O THOSE CAT'S TOO??

  • VIET NAM!!!!!!!

  • @53stuka Being that the great CCR was heavily influenced by rock and roll, rhythmn and blues, blues, country, gospel and various bayou styles and bluesmen such as Muddy Waters, Lightnin' Hopkins, Howlin' Wolf, I seriously doubt if the blacks need practice at anything you might suggest.

  • i love creadence it takes me bac

  • one of the greatest bands of all time... The Beatles, the stones, Zepplin, CCR etc....great bands.

  • when the song says run through the jungle----well they did not teach us to run with our guns backwards

  • the best usa band ever , no question ask!

  • Run thro' the jungle and don't look back.

    Quality sounds from a quality band . . ..

  • I love the harmonica lead in the middle. Great playing and wonderful addition to such a good driving guitar.

  • excellent rendition...groove, babe...

  • My favorite song from C.C.R. I'm just in love with that instrumental.

  • i feel like running threw a jungle when i here this hahaahahahah

  • If someones gonna make another vietnam war video game, play this while you're creeping through the jungle towards an nva hideout or something

  • I feel like killing me some charlie changs when I listen too this hahahaha

  • @interpolkillersfan93 Let me take a wild stab in the dark....You are yet another ignorant, racist yankie doodle dandy?

  • @ricchardo No i'm just yet another good humoured, well rounded, just having a joke Aussie bloke? What the fuck is your problem.

  • @interpolkillersfan93 Feel free to laugh and joke about innocent Vietnamese women and children being shot, stabbed and napalmed to your hearts content my friend but know this...IT REALLY HAPPENED even if you only saw it in Apocalyse Now. Sorry if that reduces the fun factor in any way.

  • @ricchardo Funnily enough I actually had a holiday to Vietnam 4 years ago, and I have been alive for quite sometime now, and honestly, if your so politically correct about this perhaps you shouldn't have replied anyway and just thumbs downed my comment or marked it as spam, I got no time to step on eggshells for people who can't say the past is the past and yes it did happen, thats life.

  • @interpolkillersfan93 Yes agreed, If I had given a damn about political correctness I would have given you a thumbs down but the object of the exercise is to at least "Try" to educate you and your ignorant kind that War / Indiscriminate killing IS ANYTHING BUT FUNNY!! Oh and don't tell me that history belongs in the past when YOU brought it up in the 1st place. I only clicked on this video to hear a song which was new to me by one of my favourite bands.

  • @ricchardo So if it is in the past, you brought it up about the whole napalmed thing, so where does that leave you? And as for that joke, I'm Australian, it's how we do things, pull your head in lad, I've served in Iraq, and Afghanistan, I am now a boilermaker back here in Australia, you know nothing, nothing abou the horrors of war, and what it does, so excuse my dismissal of your comment, but you know fucking fuck all about anything, educate me on something you actually know.

  • @interpolkillersfan93 Do you honestly expect me (or anyone else in the world for that matter) to believe that having experienced the horrors of war FIRST HAND you would EVER make a joke about it? Not to mention the fact that you never told me you were a veteran from the get go, DO WE BELIEVE HIM BOYS AND GIRLS, Now that IS funny. Your mother must be proud of her foul mouthed little war monger.

  • @ricchardo You don't have any idea about the world, nor do I need to justify myself to you or anyone else, I know what i've done and I live with it on a daily basis, living in a shitty townhouse or whatever in the UK passing judgement from a keyboard makes you worse than the people I've shot, I'd rather someone give me your ungrateful piss ant ass over a 16 year old with a AK-47 anyday, people like you are a disgrace to your country, thank fuck your not an Aussie, we have respect.

  • @interpolkillersfan93 Yes, I can see how refering to the Vietnamese as "Charlie Changs" is DEEPLY respectful or perhaps you mean you only have respect for your fellow "Shrip Tossers". Ultimately, I hope what you take away from this is the knowlege that you can't share a joke about the joy of killing with the world and expect the world to laugh with you -- ONLY AT YOU!!

  • @ricchardo No one, is laughing at me, no one has said a thing, because I think the world knows what I meant and how it should be taken, there were no V day heroes in 1973 because of people like you, I man doesn't fight to kill he fights for his family, his country, and unfortunately for idiots like you so you have the right to talk shit to someone like me about things you are ill informed about, they're called prawns by the way, if someone else has I go at me I'll tell you, doubt it.

  • @interpolkillersfan93 Agreed, There's no shortage of brain dead, racist idiots who would happy thumb up ANY comment advocating killing "Way To Go Man!!" but they've got the excuse of being American, What's yours? You've got your "Thumbs Down" by the way. Merry Christmas.

  • @ricchardo Merry Christmas to you to kid

  • @ricchardo Sorry being american isnt an excuse, and the people you've described are an insult to our nation....

  • Creedence, they and John rocked the planet off things in their way. CCR kept rock n roll together whilst everybdy was smokin dope, being

,naked and wearing flowers in their hair, CCR are the meat and potatoes of rock n roll dont ever compare this band to todays shit! They are brilliant and the best! Bren

  • @Brenrock65 dude, todays stuff sucks, for the most part at least

  • @Brenrock65 couldnt have said it better myself Sir, Thank You.

  • @Brenrock65 Damn straight theyre brilliant! My dad is from Mexico and these guys were huge even in Mexico, one of my pop's favorite bands.

  • WHAT A CUNT!

  • @Nickfatboyallen no, this one

  • @StalkingSpartan i think that was the idea

  • @StalkingSpartan I think of my oldest brother, running thru the jungle in Vietnam, everytime I hear this song. Rest in peace bro!

  • @StalkingSpartan weird, why would you think of this song relating to Vietnam? Its obviously talking about running through the jungles of Afghanistan, right?

  • @tjc5007 You couldn't be that dumb, so you must be trying to be ironic, right?

  • @StalkingSpartan so true

  • Everybody has a taste, Justin is OK for those who like him.

    Old Nam Vet 67/69

  • doug clifford = BEST DRUMMER ENOUGH SAID

  • hearng these records again after decades many music lessons are relearned.. atmosphere is all, and imagination. The band always has a point to make, even if notbeing obvious. And with passion. Must be the best balanced act on record..not a note wasted. Unforgettable vocal strength, and playing that has FIRE in it. Young musicians would benefit from taking each song apart, for the music and the words, and the artful use of technology in making a record...

  • this is as good as it gets thank you for all the memories

  • Props from Sweden

  • if anything

ccr teaches us life goes on

    sorrow, anger? let go

    breath and enjoy

    bless

  • @manofgod30 I can't thank you enough for what you did just so I can live as good as I do. Thank you so much for your service in Vietnam. God Bless.

  • For my Sis, Donna!

  • For my sweet husband, I love you Charles.

  • Poland loves CCR !!!

  • Best concert I ever saw was Credence at the Forum in L.A. just 2 hours of pure music. The place was swinging and you couldn't help but get high. Wow what a night.

  • so ppl at my school think its wierd because i listen to CCR and cause i'm only 15. they say i shouldnt even know who these ppl are since i wasnt even born at the time.... i dont care i still love this song

  • @4everanasianfreak2 those kids are dumb for thinkin that.

  • @4everanasianfreak2 those kids who tell you that are fucking sheep who only know how to follow the crowd keep being yourself

  • @MakeNine32 Very well said. Sad but true. As for the music, it doesn't get much better than this. This was the soundtrack from my young tender years, through my rowdy teens and it blares from the speakers of my Jeep, to this day. I was a 10 year old girl when this came out. CCR's music absolutely flooded the airwaves way back when. Their music ROCKED. The great music of that time was the foundation for my current love of music. What a gift we were given.

  • incredible and fantastic!

    timeless

  • VIETNAM ERA MUSIC, THE WAR TO KEEP OUR PUSSYCAT LEADERS AT THE WHITE HOUSE HAPPY!!!

  • 200 million guns are loaded, Satan cries "Take aim!"

ah great shit... jammed to this more times than i can count..

  • One of the best intro's of any rock song - ***fantastic***

  • What a great song by one of the greatest groups ever go CCR

    Your legend only grows

  • This song makes today's music sound like crap (rap)!

  • @mustangmom27 i agree but why is it being compared to something irrelevant...and not alternative or rock? : /

  • @mustangmom27 Todays music is crap.

  • @mustangmom27 i second that dude!!

  • @mustangmom27 That's not exactly difficult to do though is it?

  • @mustangmom27

AMEEN! I couldn't agree more! Rap music sux!!! some of the pop isn't too bad....some of the rock is ok at best...but give me the oldies any time!!!

  • @mustangmom27 Today's music? Rap? Today's music is Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minag, Katy Perry... No, we've fallen much further than "rap."

"Lil' Wayne" is a joke... a mockery of what rap/ hip-hop used to be, as well as all of the rest of the mainstream artists who label themselves under such genres. Rap & hip-hop have a deep cultural background... originating from ancestral stories being told over the rythm and beat of drums in Western Africa.

    But otherwise, I agree.

  • @mustangmom27 You mean rap and todays pop music eh?

  • @mustangmom27

todays rap is crap. Real hiphop is amazing though. And yes I fucking love CCR as well as trueschool hiphop. I know your not saying all rap is shitty. But I bet half of the 81 people who likes this are ignorant and do think that.

  • T E M A Z O

  • This song is still most relevant about war, violence, even life in the concrete jungle (the city) after so many years. CCR's music will live on forever, mark my words!

  • Combat should be only for self defense. We must not confuse between a warrior and an assassin...a warrior only fights for self defense, his family, his friends, the defenseless, and his country, but not for hire, or to cause chaos. An assassin fights for hire, or pleasure. He or she creates chaos.

  • During the Vietnam war I was in the U.S. Army and got sent to Iran of all places....

  • @2500grit Must have been a Marine.

  • Was Run Though The Jungle About The Vietnam War?

John Fogerty: "I think a lot of people thought that because of the times, but I was talking about America and the proliferation of guns, registered and otherwise. I'm a hunter and I'm not anti-gun, but I just thought people were so gun-happy- and there so many guns uncontrolled- that it was really dangerous, and it's even worse now. It's interesting that it has taken 20- odd years to get a movement on that position."

  • credit LA Times 1993

  • @bitojoy Men are going to kill men with or without guns---Cain slew able and did not use a gun...

  • a fantastic song, visceral interpretation of the true rock n 'roll .. Wonderful

  • love love love loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..... militaryyyyyyyyyyyyyy NAVY SEAL

  • Music is good.

War like any other violance has no room in sane minds.

Only mads are violent, and there are too many mads with too much power on Earth

  • You all disgust me talking about Vietnan war badly i have close friends who went through it, Fellow Marines who lost there body parts who think that this war was worth it, Citizens should have no oppion on wars that all they know about it is from history books i wouldnt even spit in yalls directions just pure disgust

  • I went for my physical during Vietnam. I had visions of running through the jungle and then diving into a rice paddy filled withe water buffalo shit. Fortunately, they told me that the only value I could have in the war effort was to be a hostage.

  • This song is actually an antigun song.

  • @TeamMastaPr2 ok, yeah, that was stupid of me, theres no way it's a reflection cause of the way John is holding the guitar

  • @TeamMastaPr2 Yeah, but what if the image is a reflection?

  • @BananaBreakable It's not, this is a still picture taken from video clip, so it's probably not a reflection

  • Wait, has anyone else noticed that it looks like John is throwin up the Nazi salute?

  • @BananaBreakable Maybe it looks like, but Nazi-salute is with right hand!

  • @new10I3 lol, your a fagg, Have a nice Day :D

  • fogerty is a dark talented soul

  • CCR is one of the most UNDER RATED Groups EVER.

  • they had such an amazing run and over just a couple of years in the early 70's.....dominated the charts.....flamed out too soon tho...great music

  • take 2 budweisers and cut your nuts off so u don't reproduce

  • ura racist

  • for some reason, I think of a nigger "running through the jungle" from other klan members wen I hear this song

  • @BananaBreakable Your sick man. You must be a sick klan member to describe such hateful images. Blacks are human just like us. If God had intended he wouldnt have made the black race.We are all under one god and in one earth. Lets live in respect and peace for all peoples because in the end we are all brothers.

  • @BananaBreakable for some reason I think of parachuting a bunch of klan members down in the middle of Somalia If full dress whites and starched hoods and watch to see who chases who. Maybe you should lead them?

  • It gets your groove-thing goin!

  • Nam vets don't get the respect they deserve. That was one hell of a rough job fellas thanks for your service.

  • Nam vets don't get the respect they deserve. That was one hell of a rough job fellas thanks for your service.

  • CLASSIC!

  • Gotta love CCR. Gotta love this song! I associate so many memories with this song....just like TexasJim11 mentioned. Some of us, actually remember when we first heard the song in 1970 for the first time. No rap, no heavy metal, just great rock 'n roll.........

  • This old song has many special memories for me..............

  • awesome song, shitty image.

  • at least there are only yet 4 that don't understand what this song is about!

  • Such a Deadly Song!

The 4 people who don't like this have no musical taste

  • OMG
