I think Google has definitely earned the "right" to put their name on a world map, but what does this campaign actually accomplish? It seems to me that their hope is to get others to "go Google" solely based on the fact that a large portion of others are doing it. They are simply not communicating the value of their products in this campaign.
the point of the campaign is to show people that large companies are making the choice to "Go Google". Any decision maker in a company will see this is question, "why?". This will in turn lead to that individual or team of individuals, learning more about the benefits of going Google. It is a complete win because it pre-sells people on Google Apps
Day #2: Realise we've just ripped off the style of IBM's Gil & Ned Take Back Control advertising campaign. Must get new ideas. Remember to fire marketing department.
So we should just switch because others have done it??!How ridiculous & implistic is that? What a boring ad! It highlights exactly how their mentality has evolved... this pleasure of putting their brand on a world map...Why dont they tell more about the actual value-added of whatever they offer..?They are good when it comes to searching the internet, but it doesn't make them good at everything. The more they want to compete with Microsoft and attack them, the more they look like them..or worse!
@anotaai Google Apps Business is not free, dumb ass. That many users having their email hosted on their own domain? Oh wait, you don't actually know what Google Apps is do you?
very neat. I do not understand why so many corporations still use Microsoft stuff for their employees' productivity. Google Apps saves so much time and is fast.

@lazysupper The standard version is free. Google apps on your domain with under 50 users is free. I use it on two different domains that way.
