Do you think drinking green tea shortens longevity, because it has 20mg of caffeine per cup? I don't think it would because a Japanese women who was 105 drank 2-3 cups of green tea her whole life, and also ate healthy foods like the ones suggested on your site.
They sure do, however I'd avoid the ones high in caffeine. Green tea is good but if I'm going to drink tea its going to be a powerful tea like gymnostemma, ginseng, he shou wu or some other combination of adaptogenic herbs.
Also I drink tea yet still consider myself a raw foodist as tea is the chemical extraction of an herb and we're generally not concerned about extracting enzymes, proteins, fats etc (so we're not taking in altered nutrients).

What is your opinion on Green tea and other teas?
I heard that experts say that they help to slow the aging process and help to prevent cancer and many other things.
