i don't think anyone could've done a better job making this movie! i wish they did the cellar part with coraline and her father (i wanted to close the book cuz it was really late at night but i couldn't put that thing down!!) but it was still a pretty good movie. i like all the secret background stuff they have in the movie though, like the lightning in the shape of a hand right after coraline says "what rain?"

The boy's name is Wybie. He only appears in the movie, not the book. The director, Henrey Selick, created him so Coraline would have someone other than the Cat to talk to, so she wouldn't talk to herself.
