  • Ah, so this is where your username comes from. Interesting call, not using the rune which drains half of Gorsia's health (the water rune, if I remember right).

  • So thats the technique eh? Drain the boss mp out then start meel'ing??

But very long time when I played this game last, I think I finished this game once awhile back but I cant remember for certain.

Tough ass battle nontheless, If this boss had infinite mp, you simply would have not made it, Very very tough battle.

If you want to see something very epic besides this one, you all aint see this one:

Check out final fantasy I for the 8-bit nes, ONE Black Mage against CHAOS(final boss)one on one

  • The 7th saga is one of my favorite games I am having trouble getting the third rune :(

  • Damn. This game was so hard, i'm....half way through? I'm lv. 31 using the Demon and Esuna. I think its cool.

  • So the boss runs out of MP eventually and starts doing the same attack over and over?

  • Gorsia has the limit of 255 MP like any other enemy, and some of his spells take about 20-40 or something like that, so that's always the plan when using Kamil

  • ohh, I remember and like this game. I was trying to solo with Esuna, but learned that you gotta party to counter some weakness of your main char, So I had Kamil, Lux, or Olvan on my team

I'm going to try it again with Esuna.

  • By all means, if you prefer Esuna, then go for it. I cant imagine a solo run with her being more difficult then Valsu. The best part is that you dont need to be an expert of the game to do this. Try grinding when points of the game get tough. All your money can be focused on this one character, so items and equips are no problems. I'm sure you can do it, plus it could be very fun.

  • Solo Kamil? He's pretty balanced, but that still sounds really tough to beat the game solo.

I've beaten it once (Wilme+Esuna). I'm aware that experience is divided in two when you have two characters, but a single character is still harder, isn't it? Was that on purpose? Was that a signle character challenge?

  • I have only tried a Valsu solo, and it was completely doable. My only problem was the final boss. You have to worry about being 1HKO at the start of the fight, but overall, I managed to get over that hill. I feel like it was my best run-thru of the game to date. Give it a shot some time.

  • I'm more an Esuna player than a Valsu player, personally. Anyway, a solo playthrough, hmm. I definitely should give it a try, yes. I'm not a The 7th Saga expert though.

  • lol that was longer then I thought. Ahh the memories..
