Katy Perry's music is banal and mediocre at best. She's just another pretty, talentless, cash cow for MTV and their label to drain until the kids who are into her grow old enough to realize she sucks and stop listening to her. It will happen just like every other pop star. They all suck huge balls!

@jeffersontool actually, no. hah. go research your music before you talk about it. talentless? no. have you heard her sing? she has an amazing voice, although, live she doesn't sound as great as she does acoustically... as for the whole cash cow thing, I really just believe she's having fun with it. She has talent to support her enough. What she chooses to produce is up to her. As for what happens to pop stars, again, you need to do research. There are plenty of successful, talented pop stars.

My point is that she is popular now while kids are buying her heavily marketed music but as soon as those kids (her target market) get old enough to realize how much she suck, they'll move on to real music or whatever is popular at that time.
