  • how long did it take you to render this? also is the water in the background within the 3D tool you were using or is that done is post ie after rendering

  • @ColdGamersProdutions thanks for the comment.

The Scene took around 100 hrs to render at 720p. I used 3Ds MAX with mental Ray.

The water is part of the scene and is using a noise deformer along with fractal noise on the material to fake with water movement.

Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks for watching.

  • Amazing work - great job.

  • i liked the video!! good job! need a little touches here and there, but good job!

  • Thank you very much for your comment.

You might be right about the last ball. It does look a bit off but by the time I notice I was already rendering for 50 hours and couldn't go back, beside is not such a big deal to re-render the whole thing.

About the slow part. If you notice the "Big Ball" (with the watchmen happy face) is 100 times bigger than the small marbles, thats why it looks slow. In reality the ball is huge and so is the rest of the animation after the Big Ball falls down.

  • The last ball seemed to slide without any friction, and that looks wierd. And for some reason it feels slow, like the gravity and stuff... Hard to explain.

    Very good though.
