This is the first time I've seen one of Teal's videos, and I'm pleasantly surprised. :) Oh, and for all you wondering, Elphaba has four mikes on her (if I'm remembering this correctly). One on her forehead in case the one on her cheek decides to not work, and at least one in the hat. There might also be one in her wig.

I've read so many hate comments about Teal... She is AMAZING!!!!! Saw her in August on Broadway and she gave me chills every time she sang. Her and Idina are tied for my favorite Elphaba. She's such an amazing actress and singer and I'm glad I got to see her before she left.

Not sure why everyone keeps comparing every Elphaba to Idina ... She opened with the role in 2003, and she had a very different singing style than other actors who have played Elphaba, I respect every one of them equally, because I know how much they had to go through to get where they are. In fact, though many dislike her, Julia Murney is one of my very top Elphabas.

This just serves as a memory as to why this girl is my absolute favorite Elphaba. Her voice is flawless and she always brings so much emotion to the role (and others...I had the pleasure of seeing her in The Blue Flower as well, which she was also amazing in). I absolutely adore her.

I saw a show the other day (September 4) and the Elphaba made these huge sniffing sounds when she was crying. Her voice was also fairly deep. I thought it was Teal, but now I'm not so sure. Anyone know who?

it's not a happy smile. I'm not sure if you're gonna understand what i mean but it's more like a sad smile of cofusion. Like, when you're trying to hold in the emotion by putting a fake smile but you end up showing it in your eyes. Or, it's a smile when you think to remember something that you once had or were. People do it all the time in movies.
