This is something that all parties can agree on. Wall street elites are ruining this country and taking the profits of those in which they do not represent.
@marcellothefellow no, that is false.. Wall Street is where stocks are traded for people that want to invest.. just because you don't have money to invest, dn't take down those that do, because in the end you take down yourself too.....
hahah. wall street isn't even wall street anymore. why you guys fvcking with a bunch of struggling working class bankers making used car salesman wages? you want to stick it to the banks? start trading services and products with one another without currency.
I am all for having to stand for something that is wrong. How else will we be heard when people have become just a walking dollar to serve those who may be taking advantage.Looks like though, I don't hear or see what do protestors want??Where is the FOCUS? I first thought it was wall street, corruption, global elite, etc. Also, I read it is about the people loosing freedoms because government is too large.Bottom line?Study up.Our past and present and put them together.Interesting stuff.

@PeaceProfit I went to a Tea Party rally in Boston Common, the heartland of liberalism and we had 10 times the number of people that showed up in NYC... you people are pathetic and have no support from rational people
@go2mikerenzi What is this? A fucking popularity contest to you? You teabag suckers have your little oolongs...I'll take a good protest in the streets any day.
I'm angry as hell. I want to join them. I'm angry as hell. How can we organize this in all other cities across the country? Boehner/Cantor/Ryan are all starting to play on the next crisis.
Don't bother w @Halo4Lyf he's another chicken hawk never served a day on the battle field, paid propagandist. Never read the bible either, so don't even bother with him. Waste of your time and effort. Move along people, nothing to see here, just another troll.
@artistdogboy And don't forget "he that has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one." And then there is the belief that the Father and Christ are one in being and purpose, and the Father ordered a whole lot of death and mayhem on several occasions in the Old Testament. And Christ did not come to overturn the Law and Prophets, so... I'm thinking He's still okay with war these days.
And tell me, who do you think has made more peace between nations in history? Your kind, or my kind?
@Halo4Lyf. We seem to be getting into the weeds here. I'm sure if you met me you be surprise in the "my kind" department. There is a tendency nowadays to try and put people that we imagine are not like our social group or supposedly different in to adversarial camps. Like somehow we have special access to the ultimate "truth" and they don't. As far are the contest on which "kind" made the world more peaceful, I'd say scholars could probably discuss that endlessly and not come to any agreement.
@GOPsithlord USDOR and Occupy Wall Street are non violent organizations. Prior to the rally we agreed with the police who were monitoring the protest that we would conduct ourselves in a lawful way and not block traffic or cross streets unlawfully. Being good citizens in other words. It's sort of irony that you'd bring this up, because much of the right wing spin prior to the 17th was that the protests were a pretense for " London style riots" or a variety of other wholesale mayhem. Fear....
@GOPsithlord and if they didn't wait to cross the street, you or someone like you would squeal about them breaking the law and endangering the public.
This is such an historical event in the history of the world and america in particular. The jig is up! People are fed up and when too much pressure and pain are placed on the human spirit; an eruption will surely happen. The day of political games and greed of the 10 percent is coming to a head! I feel uplifted that people are waking up from being drugged to sleep for so long
What are there like 16 people at said "Day of Rage"? More like "Day of Humiliation and Opportunity for Normal People to Mock the Shit Out of a Cavalcade of Losers". Nice job. Why don't these complete fringe boobs let Michael Moore consume them, like the obese moron he is, so they can really be one with the cause. Or they could get on board with my Cuban exchange program. We will give them ten of these imbeciles for every Marco Rubio they send back. Everybody happy with that? I am.
@kittenagogo28 There were actually 75 people by my head count. Sorry you dislike Michael Moore so much. I'll get in touch with you if I need someone to do wholesale commendation.of people who don;t think of dress like you.
@chadberry75 I'm more concerned about fracking mountians & tax credits for corporations & exploration in mining. Low income families lost thier tax credit but mining companies seemed to cash in. However, from my understanding the HST has been defeated/repealed in BC, but it still doesn't negate hyper-inflation & rent gouging that puts many households into risk of further food insecurity.
Merrily we go a long & many are satisfied to stand in a food bank line, while politics prevents growth.
@baracalypse Well that's a good point. The fact is we get comments that are basically of the "f#&k you guys" variety or threating and since it's our video channel we feel with have the right to filter them the way we please. The comment thread contains many negative comments though, so your complaint is not entirely warranted.
Let me make sure I understand this correctly.... the "Days of Rage" mastermind is Stephen Lerner, former high official in the SEIU labor union and a known communist is pissed about corporate money influencing DC politics.......
What about the million and billions of dollars of union money that in influencing DC politics? When does the protest against that begin.... 'cuz I'll be there!!
Oh yeah, Lerner won't protest union money....... he's union.
@baracalypse No, wrong the USDayOfRage was started by one woman in New York with no affiliation with any Union or the SEIU or anyone else for that matter. Your claim is right-wing poppycock speak popularized by conservatives who apparently are watching too much TV. USDOR's concept is that political contributions from unions as well as corporations would be ban. Only money donated by an individual citizen would be allowed and it would be limited to a set amount. One citizen, One dollar, One vote
The world is with us. Google search "57 countries meeting monaco" The people shall prevail! Stay peaceful in whatever you do. Like videos, share, comment, post video responses. Look how many people viewed this video so far, with no media attention. It will grow, remain peaceful, and changes will be made :-).
@lightworker303 and everyone else, if you want to see more videos and articles on Occupy Wall Street USDOR protests and actions from SEPT 17 check out my artistdogboy blog. The link to the blog is at the artistdogboy channel page in my profile.
@lightworker303 Exactly what I was thinking. As soon as things turn violent or inflammatory, the message is lost. Actually, the most powerful message is delivered in silent solidarity. The louder it all gets, the more the message is lost to the people who need to hear it. Truth will prevail! We only need to stand together under one message of common good. May we all be TRULY free! I am there in spirit!
Close your Fed Chartered Bank Accounts! Close them this week.

Hit them where it hurts. They use your 'money' and with fractional reserve , loan it out at 10-30Xs that amount. Call them on it and CLOSE your account.
Then buy some Physical Silver and/Or Gold.
Barter, go to Farmers markets, Pay No More Kosher Tax.
want to defeat corporations? force your law makers to ban lobbying and make it illegal for profits to go before peoples well being. BAM fortune 500 killed in one stroke. Sieze their assets and put all their wealth into a civilian tax relife fund.
@serenity10100 Exactly if those assholes can boost up the tea party & have a debate for them they most certainly can show more coverage of this. They don't want to however American media is awful & a huge part of the problem.
Your comment follows a familiar theme along the line, if we dislike corporations so much why are we wearing "dockers" or using products make by corporations. This misses the point. Occupy Wall Street and USDOR are protesting against the unrestricted flow of corporate money to politicians and political causes that we believe ultimately corrupts elections and the will of voters, not that we have to use products make by corporations.
@HangProgressives: Yeah, you know who else blamed "commie progressives", Adolph Hitler and he had them round up and lined up in front of a firing squad. Sounds like you two have something in common. Another similarity to Hitler and you tea baggers was the desire for systematic killing of the sick, physically, and mentally disabled. Sounds like Fascism is alive and well in the the US with the tea bagging party of hate.
Corporations are not people, even though the people in this video are wearing clothes made by corporations. Anyone who believes in the statement "Corporations are not people" are either ignorant or stupid.
Tips for the American people to have a successful revolution: First move from wall street to Times square, front of the CNN. write all your demands on a huge board, and hang the board on the highest building in the Times square ...or you better rent a publicity board on the building in front of CNN......GOOD LUCK :D
@DeathToLiberalism Actually the "swords to plow shares" motif comes from the Bible. Isaiah 2:4
"They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." and we all know that the bible is of course a well known "communist" publication.
@artistdogboy It may come from the Bible, but, much like the Chu Van and the Nazi's, it has been adopted and twisted by the Communists. Even a sign in NYC said "A job is a right". That's straight out of the Soviet Constitution.
@lordjedi It's really funny how the right brands liberals as intellectuals as if that is a bad thing. Then the republiclowns post something as utterly stupid as this. NEWS FLASH, the Nazi party was a result of extreme conservatism, not communism or socialism. Secondly, you people preach constitutional rights yet somehow always forget the third most important inalienable right. That is the right to HAPPINESS. Yes, it actually says that if you have not heard. For most, secure job = happiness!
@artistdogboy Yeah, and Isaiah was describing the Kingdom of God. You know, after the end of the world, when the Almighty Himself is reigning upon the Earth? The arrogance of these lefty douches is that they seem to think they're Him.
@artistdogboy And I'm saying that the only one who has the power (and the authority) to end war is my God. I'm only putting my sword down when He commands me to, whenever I end up meeting Him.
@Halo4Lyf "Blessed are the peacemakers". “Put your sword back in its place, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword." "Thou shall not kill". It seems that would be a pretty strong indication to me that it time to get rid of the sword" "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home". " "I was rich and didn't pay my share of taxes"."I was corrupt and made war for profit".
@Halo4Lyf I'm sure your a well meaning person. I like the dialog..... hope you do too. I'm not to much for organized religion, I do have some belief in the existence of a spiritual world, But I reject the use of religion to justify killing and all sorts of other mayhem. Christians and Muslims nowadays is a good example, When their killing each other both think that somehow their god has given them justification, Total hypocrisy on everyones part.
@artistdogboy I don't claim to have a direct line to God, I just follow His principles laid out in Scripture. I don't serve in the Marines because I think I'm on some Crusade (although I wouldn't mind one), I do it because I love my country. What I'm against is the silly notion that some adhere to that Christ was somehow advocating pacifism.
@Halo4Lyf Thank you for your service. I'm a veteran myself Army1965-68. I still volunteer at the VA as a patient driver a couple of time a month. I would say that all the people I've been associated with in USDOR love this country too. Many get stereotyped as commies or worse just because Fox News wants to portray them as such. But there isn't really much truth to it. Mainly I feel our election process has been corrupted by unrestricted corporate influence and money and want to put a stop to it.
@artistdogboy Perhaps if don't want to be lumped in with the likes of World Can't Wait and Socialist Party USA, then you shouldn't allow them at your rallies? People are often judged by the company they keep, and for good reason, because it reflects on them.
And we'd have to agree to disagree on corporate influence in elections. People seem to forget that the largest contributors in Federal elections are usually the unions...
@Halo4Lyf Union and Corporate money would be ban entirely. Only individual citizens could make contributions of an agreed upon amount to federal candidates or cause of their choice. When you call for a mass rally you'll get the political fringe. The Tea party is as lame as the left in this area. Socialists have been stereotyped and most people couldn't define what socialism really is if they were asked. Is social security Socialism? Is being a union member socialism? How about corporate welfare?
@artistdogboy Well, the problem is, you got the fringe for sure, but not a whole lot of mass. I didn't see many (or any) average Americans in that crowd, just a lot of spawn of hippies, Paulians, and LaRouchites. I mean, I know it was Manhattan, but that's not even New York normal, is it? Berkeley normal, maybe.
Yeah, the thing about the Tea Party? We (I'm one of them) actually ostracize our fringe and drive them out. Hence why no accusations of racism ever stick.
@artistdogboy Is Social Security socialism? Yup, because it's involuntary, not to mention grossly unconstitutional (care to point towards the clause that authorizes Uncle Sam to do that kind of thing?). I'd like to see it phased out and abolished over the next 25-30 years. I'm never going to see a dime of it, either way, so I have no vested interest in it continuing.
Are unions socialism? If membership is compulsory, then yes. If not, then no.
@Halo4Lyf 1. the privatization of profit and the socialization of risks and misconduct 2."too big to fail"
3.Government lavishes subsidies, inflated contracts, guarantees and research and development and natural resources giveaways on big business 4.The relentless expansion of corporate control over our political economy 5.Classical Capitalism requires buyers and sellers with equal power and equal information. Instead, the US has an economy planned by a small group.
Ron Paul agrees with Jeremiah Wright and Osama Bin Laden on America being to blame for 9/11. He agrees with this bunch of communists on "those evil corporations". He agrees with Ahmadinejad on Iran having nukes. That's quite a group that he associates himself with.
Hilarious! Why doesn't the camera show all 15 of them? Pathetic. I keep seeing the same people in all news videos of the Seattle group. Not too many there.

nick88m 5 months ago
@artistdogboy And don't forget "he that has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one." And then there is the belief that the Father and Christ are one in being and purpose, and the Father ordered a whole lot of death and mayhem on several occasions in the Old Testament. And Christ did not come to overturn the Law and Prophets, so... I'm thinking He's still okay with war these days.
And tell me, who do you think has made more peace between nations in history? Your kind, or my kind?
Halo4Lyf 5 months ago

GOPsithlord 5 months ago
@GOPsithlord USDOR and Occupy Wall Street are non violent organizations. Prior to the rally we agreed with the police who were monitoring the protest that we would conduct ourselves in a lawful way and not block traffic or cross streets unlawfully. Being good citizens in other words. It's sort of irony that you'd bring this up, because much of the right wing spin prior to the 17th was that the protests were a pretense for " London style riots" or a variety of other wholesale mayhem. Fear....

Oh yeah, Lerner won't protest union money....... he's union.
baracalypse 5 months ago
@baracalypse No, wrong the USDayOfRage was started by one woman in New York with no affiliation with any Union or the SEIU or anyone else for that matter. Your claim is right-wing poppycock speak popularized by conservatives who apparently are watching too much TV. USDOR's concept is that political contributions from unions as well as corporations would be ban. Only money donated by an individual citizen would be allowed and it would be limited to a set amount. One citizen, One dollar, One vote

I am there in spirit!

gantman 5 months ago
Your comment follows a familiar theme along the line, if we dislike corporations so much why are we wearing "dockers" or using products make by corporations. This misses the point. Occupy Wall Street and USDOR are protesting against the unrestricted flow of corporate money to politicians and political causes that we believe ultimately corrupts elections and the will of voters, not that we have to use products make by corporations.

Notice the communist motif on their signs.
DeathToLiberalism 5 months ago
@DeathToLiberalism Actually the "swords to plow shares" motif comes from the Bible. Isaiah 2:4
"They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." and we all know that the bible is of course a well known "communist" publication.
artistdogboy 5 months ago 13
@DeathToLiberalism - Wrong as usual
majorweiss 5 months ago
@artistdogboy It may come from the Bible, but, much like the Chu Van and the Nazi's, it has been adopted and twisted by the Communists. Even a sign in NYC said "A job is a right". That's straight out of the Soviet Constitution.
lordjedi 5 months ago
@lordjedi It's really funny how the right brands liberals as intellectuals as if that is a bad thing. Then the republiclowns post something as utterly stupid as this. NEWS FLASH, the Nazi party was a result of extreme conservatism, not communism or socialism. Secondly, you people preach constitutional rights yet somehow always forget the third most important inalienable right. That is the right to HAPPINESS. Yes, it actually says that if you have not heard. For most, secure job = happiness!
BanditoToBe 5 months ago
@BanditoToBe It's not happiness per se. It's the PURSUIT of happiness. Basically, you have a right to try. Does that mean you'll succeed? No.
You have the right to try to achieve a high income, and to keep trying. The world does not owe you a living. You owe yourself a living.
NaarghultheShadow 5 months ago
@artistdogboy Yeah, and Isaiah was describing the Kingdom of God. You know, after the end of the world, when the Almighty Himself is reigning upon the Earth? The arrogance of these lefty douches is that they seem to think they're Him.
Halo4Lyf 5 months ago
@Halo4Lyf Or Her or it. It's about the sentiment (ending war)
artistdogboy 5 months ago
@artistdogboy And I'm saying that the only one who has the power (and the authority) to end war is my God. I'm only putting my sword down when He commands me to, whenever I end up meeting Him.
Halo4Lyf 5 months ago
@Halo4Lyf "Blessed are the peacemakers". “Put your sword back in its place, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword." "Thou shall not kill". It seems that would be a pretty strong indication to me that it time to get rid of the sword" "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home". " "I was rich and didn't pay my share of taxes"."I was corrupt and made war for profit".
artistdogboy 5 months ago
@Halo4Lyf I'm sure your a well meaning person. I like the dialog..... hope you do too. I'm not to much for organized religion, I do have some belief in the existence of a spiritual world, But I reject the use of religion to justify killing and all sorts of other mayhem. Christians and Muslims nowadays is a good example, When their killing each other both think that somehow their god has given them justification, Total hypocrisy on everyones part.
artistdogboy 5 months ago
@artistdogboy I don't claim to have a direct line to God, I just follow His principles laid out in Scripture. I don't serve in the Marines because I think I'm on some Crusade (although I wouldn't mind one), I do it because I love my country. What I'm against is the silly notion that some adhere to that Christ was somehow advocating pacifism.
Halo4Lyf 5 months ago
@Halo4Lyf Thank you for your service. I'm a veteran myself Army1965-68. I still volunteer at the VA as a patient driver a couple of time a month. I would say that all the people I've been associated with in USDOR love this country too. Many get stereotyped as commies or worse just because Fox News wants to portray them as such. But there isn't really much truth to it. Mainly I feel our election process has been corrupted by unrestricted corporate influence and money and want to put a stop to it.
artistdogboy 5 months ago
@artistdogboy Perhaps if don't want to be lumped in with the likes of World Can't Wait and Socialist Party USA, then you shouldn't allow them at your rallies? People are often judged by the company they keep, and for good reason, because it reflects on them.
And we'd have to agree to disagree on corporate influence in elections. People seem to forget that the largest contributors in Federal elections are usually the unions...
Halo4Lyf 5 months ago
@Halo4Lyf Union and Corporate money would be ban entirely. Only individual citizens could make contributions of an agreed upon amount to federal candidates or cause of their choice. When you call for a mass rally you'll get the political fringe. The Tea party is as lame as the left in this area. Socialists have been stereotyped and most people couldn't define what socialism really is if they were asked. Is social security Socialism? Is being a union member socialism? How about corporate welfare?
artistdogboy 5 months ago
@artistdogboy Well, the problem is, you got the fringe for sure, but not a whole lot of mass. I didn't see many (or any) average Americans in that crowd, just a lot of spawn of hippies, Paulians, and LaRouchites. I mean, I know it was Manhattan, but that's not even New York normal, is it? Berkeley normal, maybe.
Yeah, the thing about the Tea Party? We (I'm one of them) actually ostracize our fringe and drive them out. Hence why no accusations of racism ever stick.
Halo4Lyf 5 months ago
@artistdogboy Is Social Security socialism? Yup, because it's involuntary, not to mention grossly unconstitutional (care to point towards the clause that authorizes Uncle Sam to do that kind of thing?). I'd like to see it phased out and abolished over the next 25-30 years. I'm never going to see a dime of it, either way, so I have no vested interest in it continuing.
Are unions socialism? If membership is compulsory, then yes. If not, then no.
Please define corporate welfare?
Halo4Lyf 5 months ago
@Halo4Lyf 1. the privatization of profit and the socialization of risks and misconduct 2."too big to fail"
3.Government lavishes subsidies, inflated contracts, guarantees and research and development and natural resources giveaways on big business 4.The relentless expansion of corporate control over our political economy 5.Classical Capitalism requires buyers and sellers with equal power and equal information. Instead, the US has an economy planned by a small group.
