  • I have always dreamed to live in golden coast. Since I was 14 I've been figuring out how I can get there. I am sick of this European weather and atmosphere that people create.. In two years time I am eventually visiting Australia :)

If you really want something, dreams always come true ;)

  • Funny cause most gold coasters hate Surfers Paradise.

  • my area..haha.. !! one of the best places to be ^^

  • Ничего скоро мы русские и в Австралию доберемся и устроим Вам козьи лапки!

  • I'm dreamin', too, but from april the 12th I'm there for 3months!!! I'm so fuckin' happy :)

  • Gold Coast looks awesome, would love to go there oneday, it's way better then boring shithole Perth, Gold Coast is by far the best city in Australia and it's one of the few decent and vibrant cities in Australia and it's one of the few cities in Australia which has class, most cities in Australia are boring and dull and have no class and most cities in Australia are full of bogans, Gold Coast doesn't have many bogans which is another thing that makes it a great city.

  • perth, melbourne, and brisbane is good. but gold coast is the best. sydney, oh the china town is a mess. but the suburbs there is really good and relaxing.

  • I hear the Gold Coast is now New Christchurch lol

  • I'm moving over there in 3days ....(: gonna love the beaches <3

  • Gold Coast is a beautiful place.. wish i could say the same about the people who live there...

  • @MrPwnstar007 One things for sure the people living there are much nicer and are much more civilised then the nasty horrible ugly feral bogans and slobs which make up most of Perths population.

  • Like if your proud to be an aussie!

  • @cloe328 very very proud. btw where do u live? :)

  • Comment removed

  • @mslovemrwood I live in Melbourne but used to live in Queensland

  • @cloe328 like if you fucked an australian girl

  • @burakpasa umm.

  • I hear that the gold coast is a cheaper traval destination than Hawaii, Is that true?

  • Damn this looks so beautiful. I want to go to Aussie since I was 10 years old, and still haven't been there. I'm almost 20 now, I want to go very soon! Greetings from Amsterdam!

  • GO TO DUBAI INSTEAD

  • @m3lo0om lol Dubai.. So they can lash you for kissing in public?

  • @Ruubinnn great country you live in too you are very welcome here :-)

  • Melbourne is best city in world to live

  • gold coast is fuked.. im movin to brisbane..

  • @zest4lyfe hope that you get the opportunity to see Sweden one day so you can discover that starvation, polar bears and igloos are infact irrelevant. I think you have the wrong idea but that's half the fun in travelling :P

    Take care mate.

  • @zest4lyfe Haha I'm actually impressed that you know where Sweden is and that you're not mixing it up with Switzerland. Not many people get that right. And I think many aspects of Australia are great. How would I know? Well I',m not a Northern European tourist, I'm an Australian who has lived here for more than 15 years. But bogans fucking ruin this place, just my opinion. Both Sweden and Australia are amazing places though, I consider myself blessed to be a part of both these nations and I...

  • @zest4lyfe I appreciate it:) Getting mixed input as far as getting a job goes, but the rest seems fine. I'm getting all caught up in these dangerous animals that I forget that there are about 4,5 million people in Queensland who have survived lol

  • The best place in Australia for holiday. It is beautiful.

  • i was born in gold coast but taken to america before i was old enough to remember anything. i really wanna go there.

  • Gold coast offers a gr8 outdoor lifestyle all year round. Amazing place luv it!!

  • Really nice video... what's the song's Name?

  • FACT: Pure paradise is going to Australia and meeting "high-on-life" American and Scandinavian girls on those beautiful Australia beaches.

    "Sweet As..."

  • God Bless you.

  • I wish i was Australian. Fuck my place.

  • @259gale Where's your place? Australia isn't all that. Nice country but we have so many people here called bogans who are pretty much the equivilant of white trash in America. It sucks!

  • Comment removed

  • @259gale all country have good and bad side

  • Eternal love!!

  • ive been here and it was amazing. when i saw this video i jizzed everywhere

  • Comment removed

  • i LIVE in Australia

  • Gold coast forever

    I live here!

  • @tgodden1 ive been there and it was amazing, got the best tan ever;) you're one lucky person!!

  • Adelaide 4 Lyf!

  • See America you can Kiss our Luxury Hotels ASS

  • I'm moving to Gold Coast in july, and I need a part-time job. Is getting a job there easy? And are there dangerous animals around? I'm from Norway, where only wolves and bears are considered dangerous, and they're animals you never actually meet. I'm used to watching documentaries about Australia's wildlife on TV, but now it's getting real to me. Feels quite absurd to me, actually.

  • @RubberyDreams In a city like environment there are NO dangerous animals, and the only that you really would have watch out for it the crocodiles, which only live in far northern parts on the country, the Gold Coast is to far south for them. Australia does have dangerous animals, but the country is so damn big you would probably never see any of them.

  • @RubberyDreams I read a recent magazine, the main focus on hiring is engineers/builders/archiects(obviously from the recent tragedy), IT and nursing. Point of warning: Don't go swimming in the Brisbane river due to bull sharks and watch out for obvious urban problems such as spiders/snakes etc. Otherwise you're fine!

  • @datiki Thank you. I'm only a student, though. I'm thinking more of a part-time restaurant-or-something job :P... So there is a concern regarding spiders and snakes in urban areas? I'm just afraid my instincts will fail me, because I'm not used to checking my shoes before I wear them and stuff like that.

  • @RubberyDreams Hmmm. Afraid can't help you there. Spiders are okay if you keep a few gekos (part of the lizard family) in your house (they eat mosquitoes, spiders, bugs etc.). They are aloud to keep as pet, or bred. Snakes, don't really have to worry as long as you don't leave your door open all day. make sure to check your garden daily though. Another thing is ants (check up on the different species), if you see an ant mount, immediatley put fuel down it and set it on fire.

  • @RubberyDreams Its easy to find work, our animals are friendly and queensland has less animals wondering around unlike the rest of australia

  • Beautiful Place.. Horrible Locals.

  • @MrPwnstar007 What load of shit I am a local and I am very accommodating to all the tourists we get here. When i moved here, I was made to feel welcome from the start, love the place. love the people and love the lifestyle! You only jealous..

  • @24938913 Fuck you cockbag im not jelous your a faggot and your mums a whore.

  • Don't go to the Gold Coast. There are alot of racist Australians there. Especially if you are asian... they will harass you and sometimes even physically abuse you. Be careful. If you must visit Australia, go to some of the bigger cities. People there are a little more open minded (though there are still racists there as well).

  • @BoxxyFan LMAO!! you look at you ignorant fool! Lol ignorance has no boundaries...

  • Bullshit! Gold Coast has warm friendly weelcoming people your talking a load of shit!

  • @BoxxyFan umm im australian and i dont no anyone thats racist and you hear stuff like i hear stuff about americans, but you no i dont think so..

  • @BoxxyFan umm im australian and i dont no anyone thats racist and you hear stuff like i hear stuff about americans, but you no i dont think so.. and wth, we dont abuse asians?

  • @BoxxyFan what the heck! australians are not racist!we have friendly people here!

  • shit music.

  • not as charming as miami & hawaii

  • luv it

  • of course, there'd be some retarded background music like this

  • Could anyone recommend some nice places to visit over there? Thanks in advance!

  • @Unvergesslichh Q1, Sea World, Movie World, Dreamworld, Surfers Paradise beaches, Santuary Cove, Wet N Wild.. there is so much to do there you wont know where to start

  • @GR8DIVINE1 Sounds perfect, thank you very much! :) If i may ask, what's movie world?

  • @Unvergesslichh just look it up on TRIPADVISOR its basically just a theme park based on movies particularly loony toons characters

if your looking for accommodation trip advisor is good for that too

  • @GR8DIVINE1 Oh ok, that's a good idea considering that i'm going alone. Anyways, thank you for your tips! :)

  • I LIVE IN GOLD COAST AND I THINK ITS SHIT

    sydney is awesome..

  • 0:55 lol it looks like vice city

  • @thebipolarpolarbear i kind of agree too... i live south on currumbin beachfront.. sooo much better :)

  • i am so proud to live here and to be born here too. i love my home.

  • Wonderfull place to stay and swim :-))

  • Im 14.

After School I want to move from Germany to there.

    Maybe gettin a pilot licence.

Hoping that my english is enough then :S

  • Once I watched on TV a Grand Prix In Surfers Paradise. I don't remeber if it was Formula Indy. I was really a beautiful sightseeing on my screen.

  • @Pedrofrombrazil I live on the race circuit. it was indy but they have stopped and is now V8 supercars that race here

  • Wooooooow...i wish i could live there!!!!

  • Wonderfull! I like it!

  • wow i would love to live in australia gold coast it looks so beautiful and futreistic wow beautiful

  • @thebipolarpolarbear Would you like to elaborate? I´m thinking of moving there one day.

  • @thebipolarpolarbear that would be sydney since it's south of the gold coast.

  • @thebipolarpolarbear the whole populated high rise thing isn't for everyone but a lot of people prefer it and there is still a lot to do here. I just don't want to know what GC is going to look like in even 15-20 years time its going to be too hectic

  • @thebipolarpolarbear even still the Gold Coast is the fastest growing city in Australia and its easy to see why..

a lot of people prefer the peace and quiet of somewhere like the Sunshine Coast which has been preserved well but i think the GC has a lot to offer, whether it has become to populated is a matter of opinion

  • @thebipolarpolarbear haha you win im from Sydney

  • 2:01 aha take that haters from the world.. GC kills anywhere else just visit it

  • @thebipolarpolarbear aha where are you from so i can just bag that out

  • ive just moved to the gold coast after living in cairns for 17 years let me just say there is no beach or city in north qld more beautiful then the GOLD COAST!!

    GC all the way.

  • Comment removed

  • im going to Aus for a year. First the gold coast at the end of novemeber, then to perth at some point maybe around march :D cant wait

  • Gold coast is great, fun place to live. i have lived there for 7 years, its a shame there are so many Pretentious wanna be people. not every one is but there are plenty of Pretentious people.

  • GOLD COAST is the best place in Australia..........anyone gotta say anything on that????

  • @zawadau i.got.to.say. it is the best place in the world!!!!

  • @zawadau i would be so angry if tsunami ruined gold coast or surfises paradise there like the best places on earth !!!

  • The gold coast is highly overated , north queensland is much better

  • @Caydn no i doubt that now. GC is better than Cairns and Townsville put together.

  • @IDGeneratorS townsville is fullm of abos what u expect but for beaches up north is better arlie beach etc

  • Surfers Paradise is part of the Gold Coast..

  • Going to the goldcoast for a holiday tommorow, for like 11 days, so im hoping its as good as it looks:)

  • So what is the best place to live in australia?

  • @Mat397 To live - Melbourne. To party - the Gold Coast. Bit of both - Sydney

  • @GeoffJennyOliver And to learn to surf without box jellyfishes :P?

  • @Mat397 Victorian, Tasmanian or West Aust coast - but you might need a wet suit other than in summer...

  • @GeoffJennyOliver Then, a last question, is there any taxes on product. Ex: when i buy something, in quebec, i have to pay 2 taxes wich is +15% of the product price. But not on food products.

  • @Mat397 ...yeah we have GST (Goods & Sevices Tax at 10%) but it is nearly always already included in the purchase price. Only a few items are excluded. Best to think that everything will have it - and then be surprised with what doesn't .

  • @GeoffJennyOliver Yes you're right, thanks alot for taking the time to respond.

  • The picture at :18 looks so much like Miami in Florida.

  • Been on the Gold Coast since 1977! Its full of fat arse Westy Bogan inbred mongs and bloody Victorians now so its shit compared to before. Was the ultimate place to live growing up! No real work here cause no industry besides tourism and realestate. To many people have moved hear and sent the prices through the fucking ROOF! Traffic is screwed up everywhere, faster to ride a push bike.

  • The roads are terrible and getting worse , public transport is terrible , the hospital is always got a waiting list and the police are short staffed and they tax the hell out of you if u live here

  • @Caydn Apparently you haven't seen a bad road which you'll find in countries that are poor and are dealing with war, but there's nothing wrong with the roads on the gold coast . Public transport is perfectly fine, as all a person needs is to catch a bus or train and get dropped off at their destination which is exactly what people get. Also, there isn't too much concern with police and hospitals . The taxes are high because rich and classy people live here not noobs like you.

  • @harshdeep4all The trains dont have enough seats thats a fact , the buses rarely run on time another fact , and you must live with your head up your butt if you think the police and hospitals situation is fine.

At least you agree the taxs are high :)

  • @Caydn The roads aren't bad...

  • @HubbaBubba776 so you dont drive much through surfers paradise do you ?

  • @Caydn Nah, I've only gone up and stayed with my gran there about 100 times.

  • @HubbaBubba776 O gee you must be more of a expert about the gold coast then me , I mean my family has only lived here since the 1860s :)

  • @Caydn I was about to say something but I don't think I should... anyway I've been there lots and the roads are fine.

  • @HubbaBubba776 Nope they arent and its good you know your place now piss off little boy

  • @Caydn Little boy? Where'd you get THAT from? Quite the exact opposite, actually.

  • beautiful. i really wanna go there someday

  • Excellent pics! Australian beaches are very special. I've only been to the Gold Coast once but have to get back there again one day. Further up north is nice, too.

  • Im saving to go here in 2013, im from the UK and im really into surfing, im looking to get a years visa, and get a little job, and experience life like no other.. down under. If i love it, which is a massive percentage I would love to live in AUS.

  • @JamesGarbutt18 you'll like it alright if you like hot weather, going surfing with the boys, going out to night clubs 4 times a week, going gambling, taking lots of drugs, sinking tons of piss, going to Rock concerts all summer long (7 months!), punching out the odd drop kick or two, and chasing hot looking party girls around town! Once you get the hang of it, it can be hard to stop! See you when ya get here mate! P.s my going out record was 47 consecutive nights in the clubs, my mate did 69!

  • I went there once in 2001...and i stayed at Penisular Hotel closed to the beach. Miss Surfer Paradise so much and I hope one day i will once again visit your fabulous city with my family!

  • well...i live in melbourne, but im planning of moving there...been there once, but it was a shortie stay, so ive only seen the coast...we have some nice beaches back there as well, but ...this is amazing, the water is soo blue :D maybe once.....

  • I live on the Goldcoast too, everyone subscribe to me as we are fellow Goldcoasters

  • I live on the gold coast and have my whole life (: i love it so much, could think of somewhere better to live.

    its amazing!

  • Its a fantastic video on QLD-Gold Coast & Surf.Paradise....Although I have travelled thrice to Ausralia I couldnt cover Qld...This video compels me to travel....Its such an amazing place that no Aus traveller should miss...

  • the only bad thing about the video is the song

  • gotta move

  • id be there tomorrow if i could

  • This is where we have the privelage to live, awesome!!!

  • I love Australia, I was on 2003-2004 and it was the best time in my life.

I meet my best friends there and maybe next year im gonna try to go there for ever.

  • I'm French and I'm going to live next to Brisbane for 1 year! I hope find a host family soon =) Australia is so wonderful !

  • @juliejodieadel Brisbane sucks, dont live there. Bad public bus and train system and its a hard place to get around in. You want to be on the Gold Coast, which is located 1 hour south of Brisbane. Broadbeach or Mermaid beach is good but if you like it quieter Burliegh heads or Rainbow bay or Coolangatta. What is a host family?

  • shit music, should of put on Men at Work, Land Down Under...

  • Home!

  • Mermaid Beach; home for us; Hi Miami High and Coombabah High !

Song: "Holy Grail"; Hunter and Collectors - A classic Aus. original.

  • Gold Coast is as close to paradise I've come to so far. I want to go back desperately. One of the best spots to ever visit in the entire world.

  • whats the name of this song?

  • go to oztube.com.au to watch fantastic videos around Brisbane -= love the Oz Tube team

  • Man made catastrophe. Its ugly, its salty, rusty, hot and humid, prone to thunderstorms, has corny little themeparks, el cheapo thrills and it all makes me wanna spew.

  • i live on the coast and yeah its a beautiful place but i really want to move since i saw an innocent man get bashed to death by a gang of local adolecents. and my friend who got hit in the head with a bottle that a car load of young p plater guys threw. i always see fights and just disgusting behaviour mainly at night by drunken dickheads who want to start shit with everyone they see.... so i dont feel safe to go out and have fun.

  • i miss the gold coast.

now i'm planning to go there every summer.

    it's paradise all right

  • My biggest dream ever is owning a beautiful mansion by the water on the Gold Coast and a Lambo in the driveway!!! I've been there a million times though.

  • I love this place! I dream to live there someday..

  • @BeFantasy fukin same here im thinkn of going on a holiday up there next year :):)

  • Great sound track anyone know who sings this song???????

  • yoooooooooooo quierooooooooooooooooooooo iirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha im goin ther in 6 weeks i wnt last year 2 and bak in 2007 and 2004 lol im from new zealand taranaki

  • It's annoying when people call Australia "down under". What if we called THEM "up above"!!

  • @SillySausages17 I've never thought it. I like Australia and when I heared the words Down Under from Men at work band for me was pretty good although I ain't an Australian that's why. Have fun.

  • @SillySausages17 FUCK OFF.. I love it when yanks say down under

  • @ExuberantArmadillo Daun undah! tee hee hee! d'you like it now?

  • @Jenand444 yeaaaaa mayyyyneee yo yankin ma chain dawwwg

  • @ExuberantArmadillo lolwut?

  • @SillySausages17 I guess you can... but it'll probably never catch on... need a catchy song like "I come from the land down under" to make it work.

  • They probably wouldn't give a shit

  • Excellent vid !!!!

    Who sings, plz !!!

It's been 10 years since I lived Down Under and still I miss it so much <3

  • wow, how fuckin rich do u have to be to live there???!!!

  • @TFPhenominal not that rich. My parents own an I.T company In New Zealand so we live on Gold Coast half yr and nz half yr. We have a house on broadbeach waters which is canals. We built it and it is only worth 2 million dollars. We also have an apartment in the Q1 and that is the tallest apartment building in the world which are around a million each. So your answer.. not too rich

  • @mctuker well, that is still pretty damn rich to me, i live in Canada, Toronto. and it sucks ass here. I visited my family in Sydney Australia last year and OMG is all i can say. How come ppl are so rich there? all i seen were porches, lamborghinis, bmw's,rolls royces,bently's..lol thats crazy im moving to sydney soon.

  • @TFPhenominal Well... Australia is a very successful place. You know that most people call it the Lucky Country. It's great living in Australia. In fact, I've lived in Sydney for all my life. Australia winters are like 11 degrees. In summer it gets to around 30 degrees. Trust me, you get used to it. Almost every house is two story and has a pool. There are some really great places here. I've visited the Parliament House like twice, and I met the Prime Minister of Australia!

  • @TFPhenominal hahahahaha you dont have to be rich to live on the goldcoast
