I agree that Okami is EPIC but I don't think it would be a good movie. There are TONS of bosses, and every person who plays the game the plot line is different because you might lose or something.

You know the movie makers at Warner Brothers have the tecnology and the ability to do this. So I reall hope that in the near future this can become an acual movie. But it might be better if it was anime. But live action would be just as good so long as it gets made. If it ever does. :(

Personally, I think an anime would work better, but have it play out like 3-4 ovas (each one covering the Orochi, Ninetails, and Yami parts). Then at least this way the story wouldn't get terribly cut up to fit a normal film length.

Though it would also be cool to see a fake anime opening using "Reset" :D

I include game footage because nothing is quite so close to a game as the game itself, video game to movie transitions almost never allude to the games they're based on at all, and because...well...it took my months to find movies that even worked for a little of the trailer. It was just made to be translated to a gorgeously cinematic, highly visual and uniquely character driven tale. If tentpole movies are going to continue to dominate the box office I want less Resident Evil and more Okami.
