Tibet was an indepdence country from 1913 to 1950, Tibet was invaded by CCP. Tibet land belongs to Tibetan. Their ancestors were born on that land, not Chinese ancestors. Tibetan's ancestors formed the first nation on that land, not Chinese ancestors. Tibet is the motherland of Tibetan, not Chinese's motherland. FREE TIBET!!!

I see the Buddhist monks were involved in and encouraged violence. Sounds like a contadiction in doctrines to me. Maybe if they had religous freedom in China and Tibet this wouldn't be happening.

Buddhism does NOT advocate violence and the monks should NOT involve in the protest. But again, you have to bear in mind on the situation the tibetan are facing in their home soil i.e. being marginalisation by the Chinse govt.
