In this paradigm, the government doesn't exist to satisfy the needs of the people other that what is granted to it by the people. Private organizations can perform other functions in a competitive market where their success is only determined by their ability to satisfy consumers.
Or their ability to monopolize an industry, or to export as many jobs as possible to countries without workers' rights so they can mark the prices of goods down and shut out local competitors. Or the ability to stomp out labor movements with violence. All because your precious Constitution doesnt allow government to intervene.
