would it not be reasonable to say that one selected tree for furnature is worth triple that of an old growth for chipping. There are to many farside decisions made in regards to natural resourses,if its there chop it and if it hops kill it.There is room for a selected tree harvest without clear felling forests and there are enough farmers waiting to sell hemp for paper.Wake up Tasmania
Exclusion zones set by forestry are not legal.how can gunns stop members of the public walking on crown land,1km down the road their sign says multipal use. Also please explain why native species are being killed within the world heritage.
These firebombers are idiots and anyone who employes them they are assessories to the fact of knowing they committed the crime.how did they know that there were no people sleeping in the vehicles.I believe they know what they are doing as they have done this type of crime before.what is the definition of an idiot???????
the fact that they used fire as opposed to rocks or other means of violence astounds me and shows just how short term and immediate their thinking goes... i mean come on, who in their right minds would light a large, hard to control fire in an area with no phone reception, in a landscape that thrives on bushfires? very easilly could have gotten out of hand. very silly.
This is terror. Forestry has condoned violence and set an evil precedent for an irrationality in what has been an open debate upon industry. The possibilities for peaceful solution has been jeopardised by the allowance of thug tactics. the whole foresty industry is among this decision. Little do they know how disgusted the populous are at the corruption and conniving single minded cruelty of industry that is clutching at straws to survive in a world that has had enough of backwards industry.

Violence is like a child, dont give birth to what may just come home, and no one likes their house being burned down when they sleep do they !.
And another thing, why are my taxes being used to fund these meaningless, devisive adverts being run at the moment by Forestry Tasmania ?.

Do not be fooled that the sentiments of the logging industry represent the tasmanian population, let alone the bigot minority.
Tasmania is disgusted at this behaviour as should the rest of the world.
No doubt logging industry zealots posing as "hard done by timber workers" will post a load of bullshit rhetoric about how THEY have suffered.
As the world panics upon a dwindling earth.

pro-logging vigilantes?
In other words... people hired by the logging company?
(let's face it.. who would be pro-logging except someone with a vested interest?)
