Saw the Hawks the House of Blues in Boston in the early 90's. It was Mark Wenner's birthday, and since a a guy I knew was a friend of Marks, They invited me upstairs for a piece of cake. True story! Thackery was no longer the lead- but I've seen the man do his stuff at Johnny D's, Davis SQ. Somerville, MA -many times- including this song!
Thanks for posting this. I saw these guys at the Blues Fest in Syracuse, N.Y. back in the 90's, and they wouldn't play this song because of changes in the band members and they did'nt have the rights to do the song. It sucked, but they were very entertaining. This is a great song and it needs to be cranked. I can't believe I found them on here.
