well, i cannot speak for the person you are talking to, but as someone who grew up in Halifax I have been beaten by police simply because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I have also gone to third world countries (Myanmar, Libya, Cambodia) and experienced that life for many years as well. I have also visited american cities which have similar problems that Halifax has within the police force beating citizens such as Boston, Baltimore, and Chicago.

However its ILLEGAL to BE drunk in public, and its ILLEGAL for bars to serve drunk people. Dont believe me? Read the liquor control act.

well, i cannot speak for the person you are talking to, but as someone who grew up in Halifax I have been beaten by police simply because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I have also gone to third world countries (Myanmar, Libya, Cambodia) and experienced that life for many years as well. I have also visited american cities which have similar problems that Halifax has within the police force beating citizens such as Boston, Baltimore, and Chicago.
