Once they were gone the most evil regimes of history rose to power. If there had been a Kaiser and a Tsar there wouldn't be a Hitler or a Stalin. Look at Europe today. The Nazis tried to use General Denikin( One of the former head commanders of the White Army) in propaganda pieces. However he vehemently refused. In the last years of his life Denikin was as fierce an opponent of Nazism as Communism. Also many former Whites fought in the French resistance.

The last occasion the Tsarist anthem was sung to a Russian monarch was when the Dowager Empress departed from the Crimea aboard the British warship, HMS Marlborough. The Empress was accompanied by her daughters and grandchildren. Other refugees and the remnants of the White Army sung it to the Empress as she passed the Crimea in 1919.

@HerrDoktorPete While it does seem ironic, there is a bit of political history that makes this case seem plausible. Firstly, as the video says, it is officially recognized in Russia that Stalin and the radical Bolsheviks were the ones behind the assassination. However, by the time the assassination happened, the Tsar and his family had already lost all power of state to a dual government shared by provisional and soviet powers. Then a second revolution occurs and soviets take control.

Even though the Red Army Choir is still called as such, it is no longer soviet or anti-Tsarist in any actual way. Therefore, they can present the song as a historic anthem.
