Outstanding video series. I came here looking for info on reloading because Cabela's has a sale running righht now. I was very unsure if i wanted to commit the funds or not. Thanks for pushing me over the edge with the excellent attitude and information.
damn dude!!!! where did you learn all that stuff????? whoever helped you get going must have really known what they were doing because some of your techniques are superb!!!!!!
I had a similar question, I thought with 1-9 twist rate you should stick with nothing less than 55 grn and preferably 62 grn and for 40 grn you needed a slower twist rate like 1-12...? I might have been misinformed though...
how fast are them 40 grain bullets coming outta gun ? how you say thats a good mix for my bolt action 223 ? im just getting into reloading i have reloaded yet , i use my 223 for coyote hunting mostly
After watching all four vids, I can see hand reloading takes a lot of work. BTW, your commentary is the most laid back I've ever seen. LOL next to the other video I watched with a guy explaining how to zero a2 sights, I couldn't bare watch any more. Good job, I think after seeing what it takes to reload, I may just stick to buying it lol.
Thanks for the vids!! Just purchased a RCBS Rock Chucker today, have been out of handloading for 15 years. A great refresher to jump back into it. Looking at loading .357mag, 9mm lug, 300 Win mag & 6.5 x 55 SM. .223 rem is cheap enough in bulk for me.........Thanks again!!
the RCBS Pro 200 is a Progressive Press. A turret press holds one case at a time and has all the dies on top that you can turn as needed to load that one case.
great videos. a couple things i do differently, just for safety are: i dont prime until just before powder and seating. the other thing is that i dont trust my powder charger for dead on consistant charges. i use it as a base load, then use a trickler. i weigh every single charge. just me though. good videos. OBAMA stands for One Big Ass Mistake America...O-B-A-M-A!!
I've loaded so few .223 and haven't shot any of my reloads through my bushmaster, only my Ruger M77, mainly because I haven't crimped my rounds. Do you crimp? I've had a factory round jam the bullet back into the case before. Luckily I caught it. Also, what primers to you use? I hear talk of slam fire, but have never experienced one. I mainly use Winchester small rifle primers. I mainly reload for my .357 and .44 Magnums. Great Video! What's your Bands name? It was a little blured.
I just hope Obama and the anti's will see what we are doing with our guns, not plotting to take over the nation or kill people, just having a nice safe fun hobby that has been and will be passed down from genaration to genaration as it has since guns have been shot. He and his anti's are making our passion a very expensize one. almost unobtainable to the common income. Im doing my part, please do what you can to help.
I know why he keeps saying Grams. Did you see him?lmao

Great video, well done, but what has Obama done to make everything "almost unobtainable to the common income."?

one threat to bad weapons from the pres is all it takes. tell everyone the water will be shut off in a week and see how fast the shelves empty.
