I love it instead of buying a bunch of diff snares u can use tht one for like 5 tht u wud normally use, u shud check it out.

Good job man. I wouldn't listen to the negative feedback. I'm a drummer who's been in the game for a while now and I see nothing wrong with this. The ghost noted accents are there. occasional kick drum triplet. not overdoing it on the fills and most importantly your KEEPING THE TIME and your on beat with the band. as long as your doing that than I would say this is a solid performance and your a solid drummer. Just get into it a little more is the only advice I can give you.

your playing had definitely more of a gospel feel; perhaps, lighten up, more grace notes. Getting a lighter touch allows more finesse and subtleties to come through like high-hat accents, grace notes multi-strokes

you got a tight groove but what everybody is saying about the fills is that when there are snare or snare/tom fills every 4 bars it becomes very distracting and takes away from the melody. they also become predictable. if you were more selective about using them it would be more appealing. my biggest problem was why a soprano sax was playing the main line so much. the horns all need to tighten up. again, cool groove/pocket but it's just too busy. listen to the pros and you won't hear that much.

The reason Garabaldi didn't do those fills is because he didn't even record the tune. Herman Matthews did. Herman didn't put alot of fills in the tune either. Great job Mekka. A bit busy for my taste but great none the less.

Still, beware of "over-drum" the song. I agree with keith, get the ghostnotes down, cut half of the fills, and you got it pretty good. Your sound is nice, so defently keep going!
