Wow! I remember watching this video only once when it first came out 27 or so years ago, and I never saw it again until now (I didn't have MTV at the time. Come to think of it, I wish I didn't have MTV now!), and I remember loving the song and the video, before I ever heard the original by Sly and the Family Stone. I remember the bit when Joan Jett was trying to start the car up with the crank and falling back from it. I thought it was cool to see her humorous side. Thank you for posting this!

I have to admit that there are many female singers that are better than Joan but i believe she is the best rocker, that includes not only voice, but impressive shows, presence, attitude, solid hits, etc. Bob Dylan wasnt much of a singer yet he is still a legend.
