as someone else correctky pointed out, you used a umd in comparison to built in storage, which means built in storage is obviously superior. you should have used memory stick v.s built in storage.

this test is not fair. firstly the psp go was closed meaning that it took a long time to enter clock mode. secondly these two psps were probably on different versions meaning speeds along with posdible cfw.

However if you have UMD's on the side you're saving memory space so psp 3000 wins in that area.

The price was great, and I'm satisfied with it, but I still wonder what my experience would be like with the 3000. It's a shame the screen is a tad smaller, but the screen always appears sharp and crisp. 16GB internal memory is great, too.

But had the GO not been on sale, I would've just picked up a 3000.

It is quite obvious the PSP Go will run and load games faster since the games themselves are on the system memory while PSP 3000 is based on UMD. The PSP Go is a nice looking gadget but it is uncomfortable to use, the older psp models are more comfortable because with the GO you have less space when you use the buttons and your fingers start to hurt and it has a wrist band space at the bottom and that digs into your hand while playing which is very disappointing. The most stupid thing about it is that it doesn't support UMD's you have to buy games from playstation store and get ripped off.
