The Koran does not advocate death for apostasy, unlike the Old Testament which advocates death for those who break the sabbath. Certain Hadith, that is literature outside the Koran, have made claims on death for apostates but anybody could have written them. Instead of hating Islam people should read the Koran.

He is raising valid points on immigration. 6.7million people living in the Uk were not born here. Immigration is running at 500K a year. These levels create massive problems for our infrastrucure. Schools, hospitals, policing, prisons, NHS, energy supply, food supply, housing etc. We cannot just go blindly on as we are..If it needs someone like Mr Griffin to get it on the agenda then so be it. But it needs looking at..

@uskoroms Women aren't treated equal to men in Islam, due to the woman's 'physical weakness'. To convert everyone to Islam is in its doctrine. And the Zinah ordinance is clearly stated in the Quran, look Muslims shouldn't deny that it is true, it is in the Quran it's not tradition, you can deny it all you like. But, however, Nick should have also pointed out how primitive and backwards Hinduism is, and to a lesser extent Sikhism. Hindus set women alight, marry of 8 year old girls etc.

@Zoroastrianistic thanks for your reply which is highly appreciated but this is not the right place for interfaith dialogue so if you wish please send me an email and we can discuss further because a) there is no "physical weakness" of women in Islam b ) no one can be forced into Islam and c ) the point of view of Islam regarding Zinah is the same as the other two Abrahamic faiths and on a final note there are many muslims with the name of " Jesus " than in any other religion in the world .

Islam is indeed a very violent religion - it means "submission". But that's not the point - every one agrees that Muslims should be free to follow their religion IN THE OWN COUNTRIES. Er, so is every other religion. In fact it is religion that causes most of the troubles on this earth. Indeed, Christianity itself was used as an excuse to begin wars {Northern Ireland for example}, and was also used as an excuse for the trade in human cargo {African Slave Trade}. Yes, all religions fall short in some way or other. It does not mean that all people are evil either, so why class all Muslims as terrorists, or all Christians as terrorists}. There is no rhyme or reason to it.
