Well, dang, beanscot! I just read a review in "Worship Leader" magazine about this album, so I checked it out and ran across this beautiful song. I thought "Man, I gotta make a video for that one! But where have I heard it before?" Then I remember, my YouTube buddy Melody (melodyl52) shared your video with me last month. I probably can't touch this, so I guess I'll pick another cut off the album; there are lots of good ones. Wonderful job!
It does get hard, especially with the death of a loved one who rejects a witness of the Saviour while they were alive,then to know they will come to the Saviour either as Lord or Judge.My heart has ached knowing this,but prayer and knowing the Lord as my Saviour has been a great comfort and hope.Death is inevitable,but I know there is hope beyond the grave and I say this with confidence even through the pain of my loss.Call out to the Lord for your salvation today while there is yet still time.
and, to add to beanscots's message. God is Holy. We are not. In order for us to achieve holiness, God sent Jesus to heal and forgive us. We must learn to strive for that holiness by constantly praying, without ceasing, obey and be what God has willed us to be. Love everyone, as Jesus loved & does still love us, and forgive our enemies. Then, show God what we are made of, and as, Jesus, love Him, no matter the difficulties that are presented to us. He will be with us, always. Simply love.
@JanetUSA You've asked a good question. Thank you. We live in an evil world. In this life bad things will happen to good people, even those who belong to God. We can allow the bad things to turn us away from the God who loves us or we can let God use our sufferings to bring Him glory. Just as Jesus bore the cross for us we may have to bear brokenness, pain and loss to become more like Him. God does heal brokenness. Sometimes we have to know we are broken in order to seek his healing.
