We test drove the LaCrosse a couple of times. It's very quiet and handles very well. The interior is drop dead beautiful. Problem is it's a bit under powered with the 3.0 liter V6 and worse than that it has a really small trunk. I could'nt get my golf clubs and cart into it without lowering the back seat. I could not go on a golf trip with a friend or two and bring the golf clubs and luggage. That trunk caused us to pass this vehicle up and cost GM a sale. BTW I owned a Buick Regal for 16 yrs.
Can't see how nice it is with fully optioned, like navigation system.. well it's cheap brand turned into. what do you expect, low budget cars they made for so long.
I used to be a die-hard Buick supporter, customer, defender. Even after stealing, er, I mean, borrowing all that bail-out money, GM has yet to get the friggin Lacrosses to any of the dealerships anywhere around where I live in Central IL. I love my new 2010 Ford Taurus.
I work for Visteon, which holds the contract for manufactoring the cockpits for the 10' LaCrosse. The reason GM has yet to get the LaCrosse to hardly any dealers is due to the fact they keep pushing back their production launch, we're still in launch phase till sometime in Sept, as of now till the push it back yet again.
As of today 70% of the Dealers in Cleve have them. Not many but they have them. I saw a Gold Mist CXL yesterday NICE!!!!!! My only hope is when I'm able to buy it that Buick does not add on to the sticker like they did with the Buick Grand Nationals and Turbo's. For the GN they added 1800.00 to the sticker and turbo was 1500.00 and there was NO NEGOTIATING. Went to a couple of dealers none of them negotiated. You paid what they wanted or you got something else.
Thanks for the info. I guess there's still hope but as of Aug 7th still no LaCrosse at our dealerships here in the Phiadelphia suburbs. I am going to shop the LaCrosse and the all new Ford Taurus but I'm leaning towad the Buick because I've has real good experience with my Regal. 160,000 miles and still runs like a charm.
The new 2010 Ford Taurus is what I'm now going to purchase. I gave GM enough of a chance to deliver the Lacrosse in a reasonable amount of time, and they blew it.
I ordered one in early May, and the dealership assured me I'd get it in mid to late June. That not has happened yet, and figure the dealership and GM are being as usual, less than upfront or truthful........
I doubt the dealership was being dishonest about your delivery. Because of economic conditions GM as well as every automotive manufacturer has constantly had to revise production scheduling. The dealership wants you to have the vehicle as soon as possible, they don't make one penny selling you a car until you take delivery.
Thought you would like to know that as of Aug 4th my dealer in Philadelphia has not one of these cars on the lot and does not know when he will get any. Good work GM!

Wow.....that's bad news for GM. We tax payers deserve more accountability from those over-stuffed, over-priced execs.

You know what is funny...Im in Detroit and I have NOT seen a 2010 Lacross in dealerships or on the road. Strange isn't it?
DaminoLordXL 2 years ago 2
Yes, and now it's Aug 2nd and still no cars at my area dealerships. I have never even seen a 2010 LaCrosse except on TV commercials and you tube.

The crazy thing is that I was at the Buick Open today (Aug 2) and there was no Lacross lol.
