Kontakt 4 - Overview

I have a quesion about adding libraries to Kontakt. With some sample libraries, just going to ''add library'' on the left seems to work to add those samples to a row of sample libraries on the left on the screen, from which you can choose whenever you open kontakt. (they also get a fancy background picture. However, this does not work for all the sample libraries I tried to load.It seems to only work for the ones that have a NKX&NKX file in the root. I''m new to contact.How do I add those the ?

I re-arranged Sunday Recovery's song "Coma", a progressive rock song in style of Muse, Radiohead and Porcupine Tree, only with Cubase 5 and Kontakt 4 Library. The result is very realistic. In the video I tell the Set and Sounds I used.

But what is it exactly? That's the trouble with sales pitches like this - it assumes everyone is completely familiar with the technology. A lot of us are new to all this, and it fails to give a full explanation. I've seen people refer to Kontakt in Sibelius forums, but despite watching this video, I'm still none the wiser. So, why should I get it? What would I do with it? How does it relate to DAW's? How would it benefit me?

I have to use the demo version of this to play my Akoustik Piano since Snow Leopard does not support the native player anymore. It's too damn slow to do things. In native player I could get anywhere within three mouse clicks, often one. Recording, chosing any preset and so on. Kontakt is just too much. I have no interest whatsoever of any of all those settings and other things, I just want to play my bloody piano.

Never ever Native Instruments again.

Probably getting Ivory 2 later this year.

Please i need help!!!!I just installed the Native Instruments Komplete 6 (the 8 DVDS) and when im runing the NI Kontakt 4, and click on the Libraries window, i can see only the Factory Library!!! I installed the libraries on en externall Hard Drive since there are about to 50 GB to install, what happened? why i cant see the rest of the libraries, and i cant import this libraries as well??????????????????????????­??????snkeater@hotmail.comThan­ks
