I've done a few calculations using the data given at 5:25.
If you were to build a tower to the sky, it would reach a height of around 300 feet before the cob tower would crush itself. This number seems far too high.
Assuming the structural data given is 5 times too strong, the calculations would still allow a two story cob wall to compressively hold 2.9 pounds per square cm, or 18.5 pounds per square inch, or 2,600 pounds per square foot??

Your documentary rocks. I'd say solar panels make good roofing. They could help conditioning the domestic humans back into the wild ;)
The cob people seem to be of the same spirit as people growing their own food. It's like they all know exactly what they are doing but never ceases to amaze themselves with the results.
Should also make and distill your own alcohol for lighting preferably from hemp like n' the old days ;)
It's all very high tech. Almost lucid. lol
