Wow, just read all the comments going back about 5 years, and of course they all have the same theme. The guys were gorgeous, the song was great, and apparently their hair was of great note. I remember them as the guys in high school that everyone had a crush on, and they looked and sounded the same back in the mid '70's when I attended Banting. Always loved this song...and would tell my kids I went to school with them every time it came on the radio.
We just had Christ Partland play at our bar in Burlington last weekend - he was amazing!! He's coming back Jan 7th. Carrigan Arms....check him out - he put on a great show!!
Chris Partland still does play, not sure about his brother though. I had the privilage to play with Chris a few years ago at a local bar. He is still a super guy and is still rockin'. He lives in Ontario Canada.
heard this once back in the day, didn't appreciate it then, cuz i was on adifferent musical path than pop rock, but now that i go back and re-listen, this is really a great song.
I love these guys. All these years later, Electric Honey is still one of my favorite albums. Aren't these guys still appearing on stage now and then? I'd have to pinch myself awake if I could see them live one day....
I thought this song was great, so great in fact, that I bought the album (on casette)... Canadian bands in the 80s had something (not better) that was QUITE different from US bands... though I'm not exactly sure what is was...
andrewcbro - I'm there!... one thing, how about the cowboy boots?? I adore this song! Second best car candy I've every heard. Seriously, I still listen to it. My husband bore a striking resemblance to BOTH of them. Gee, that sounded..anyway, this is still getting hits so CARRY ON!
Another one on my list of Hits That Should've Been. I don't remember this being so synthesized, but it was the 80s after all. Right now, I think this sounds like a crux between the BoDeans, the Rembrandts & Corey Hart.
This song brings back memories. I always think of my childhood in 86' while growing up in Cornwall, Ontario and the fun I had that summer. Things were so much easier and much more simple. This song always takes me back to that time when I hear it. I love it,
What happened with music today? THIS, is music. I really hope to see some artists come to their senses and realize that this genre and style of music never dies! Beautiful song!
Always good times when headed to Seoul city...That's where my Tae-Kwon-Do Master was dancing and singing till damn. He didn't back when the money was gone... Seriously though, this song did mark the hearts of the 80's and 90's beating together, and we still do today.*

This song is soooo Nostalgic for me! My mom had a home video made of my sister and me when I was only 3 and she 1, back in 88, of us just fooling around and playing and stuff and this song is in the background!
I really wish I could have experienced the 80ies more, I was only born in 85 but the brief memories i have from the late 80ies were so much fun!
