i have a question....u see, i have to choose between the movie and the motion comic, but i'm not sure which one to get....i live in brazil so the directors cut hasn't come out yet, and thats the one i want. but the motion comic is already here.....So......which one do i get?

Wow... Personally I would buy both! Ha.

The motion comic is really well done. The movement and the sound design... It's great. But I also enjoyed the movie. I would say buy both. Or, wait a couple more months and just buy the Ultimate Director's Cut like you said. It's not out yet, but will be soon. And you'll get all of the motion comics included with the DVD.

thanks, i actually was going to buy both, but i wanna buy one of them first.......so i wouldn't really need the ULTIMATE EDITION- which would be over-priced here in brazil.......although the watchmen actual book costs more than the motion comic XD thanks though

In that case I'd say buy the motion comic first. It's 5+ hours of goodness!

All it is is the "Tales of the Black Freighter" animation spliced into the directors cut movie.

Exactly. I wouldn't spend the $25 and get this motion comic. However when the ultimate watchmen blu-ray release comes out in December of this year, it will contain the complete motion comic as well as tales of the black freighter. New commentaries by Snyder and Gibbons too!

You know what pissed me off? I just got watchmen in the mail today and it had an ad for the ultimate collection thing. That was like a slap in the face.

From what I've heard the movie has Tales of the Black Freighter included into the movie. Thats all I know right now.

On the DVD version there are 2 discs but each disc contains 6 of the 12 episodes.
