using ITSF rules and nomenclature, it's called a pull shot. If you're playing Italian style and you're from Canada (specifically Toronto) it's often referred to as a drag.
The key to learning this shot is repetition and muscle memory. Set your front middle man up as far away from you as you can get. Set the opponents up so you only have to pull a short ways to score; repeat shot a hundred times or so. Then move the defenders so you have to pull a little farther and execute another hundred or so shots. Repeat until you are pulling your shot across the entire width of the goal.

Nice pull shot! I still learn push after pull shot. My shot is an angle shot, that's easy to defense.... so bad.
